”No one could have seen this happening and Quinith has laid a good Gold and maybe these new dragons are just what Top Point needed.
The White dragon comes to Pern when it is most needed.
To much hope was places on this clutch and all that hope turned it bad. It was bound to happen one day…that a dragon would get a bad egg in its clutch. Thank the first shell that the good out see the bad and you green rider will get from my sight and remain from it for as long as i am guest in this weyr” Talia ordered at Elday.
Talia held onto the hope that some good would come from this and she would make sure her voice was heard to support Kisa and R’reek.

“I advise you to listen very closely to what you are being told Elday and you leave this matter to alone, it is of no concern of a green rider…now go make your self useful and help Morga in the kitchen or something” G’ree said giving Elday a shove to the door

F’hursna made his way down from the stands, down to where Talia, E’lric and Elday stood.
“What’s going on?” He demanded thinking the young may have all lost all sense.

Elday glared at Talia and E’lric who were these outsiders to saw how this weyr should be run
She turned looking at G’ree “Just because R’reek and Kisa gave you a rank and put you in charge of those brats does not mean you can boss me about” She said

”No Elday that is prosily what it does mean. You hold no rank in this weyr and obey those who do or suffer the consequences and as for brats…the only brat is you at the moment. Now be gone off theses sands and if you can not speak any words of kindness then keep you mouth shout or stay in your weyr” F’hursna at the green rider, his grief fuelled his anger for the green rider at the moment

Rio stood just behind F’hursna thinking Elday may not have a go at her if the old weyrleader was between them… not that she was scared or anything it was just Rio did not want to be seen as the cause of trouble.
”No Elday i am giving you friendly advice and those weyrlings have one little glimmer of hope you don’t and that is they may see another weyr unlike you” G’ree said thinking Elday would be here till she died

Elday looked angry at them all. Oh she would show them that she would not get out of the freezing death trap if it was the last thing she would do.
“Fine then...you deal with this mess...I have other things to do” Elday turned heading off the sand she would wait for the conclave and slip a few little words into a few of the weyrleaders ears.
Talia watched the women go she had a nasty feeling that she had something planned.
“Oh how did such a tunnel snake make it on to the sands as a candidate?” She said knowing she would like to say more at the young women but she had her rank to up hold
”The dragon chooses the rider...her dragon must have though she had some potential” E’lric said knowing Talia was close to breaking point and would quickly snap.
”Well i think he dragon made the wrong chose” Talia said turning seeing Rio.
“Rio there you are, are you all right” Talia need somthing to take her mind off Elday and all the plans she would do to the girl if she were in her weyr.

Rio watched Elday go how she would like to go after her and tell her what she though of her.
Rio’s thought were starting to drift towards what she would like to do to Elday when Talia spoke to her “Oh…i…I’m ok…just a bit shocked”
G’ree watched Elday go…he know that rider well enough to know she had something getting planned in that head of hers.
G’ree was annoyed he had come to try and think what he would tell the weyrlings and with Eldays little drama it had pushed it out of his mind.
“i have to go i…i need to talk to the weyrlings before someone else goes about telling them things that are not true…excuse me” He said giving a bow to Talia and F’hursna before going.
Rio watched G’ree go “Is he the new weyrling master?” she asked F’hursna knowing she had heard talk of a new one but didn’t know who…oh what and idiot he must think she was
