R’reek watched the gold as she made her way to the girls leaping on to one of them, a wing of worry filled him, worrying it was going to be another attack on a candidate, but he breathed a sigh of relief then the girl got the gold off herself. But his joy was short lived when the next big egg hatched and the whole of the hatching ground seamed to hold their breath at seeing this new colour. It was the size of a gold but with no colour
((Its ok, we know not everyone can be on the computer all the time...))

K’inzar smiled and laughed “Any thing from the south will do and i will even take you on Arkth to go get it if you like?” K’inzar offered Zaira. He know this way they both could win, he was grinning broadly, but it soon disappeared when the next egg hatched “By the golden egg of Faranth…look at that thing” he said pointing to the newly hatched dragon on the sand

"Alright then, the first Rest day we have we'll go South," Zaira nodded her head to emphasise the point, although she was slightly baffled by his offer. After all she had lost, you did not usually lose a bet and still end up with the prize. But then again she was hardly going to reject it outright, Zaira would be hard pressed to decline any offer of a flight no matter the cicrumstances, and her smile resumed its position on her face.
The Harper obediently looked at the dragon that Hatched from the second large egg as K'inzar insrtucted, her mouth forming a small 'O' of surprise. Why the dragon was bleached of all color and yet there was something so dazzling about the hatchlingly that her eyes were not the only ones fixated upon it.
A Ballad about the famous White Ruth ran through her head, but he had been small, much smaller than the other dragons, where as this stunning specimen of dragonkind was every bit as magnificent and large as the Queen that had previously Hatched and was now escorted off the grounds.
She looked at the remaining few Candidates on the Ground, curious to see who it would Impress, if in fact it Impressed at all. Was the dragon male or female? Was it actually a Queen with an aberration? What complications would arise as a result of its presence in the Weyr? Zaira had many questions however she knew for the time being they would remain unanswered. Perhaps once the kerfuffle was over she could talk to the rider it Impressed and get the answers she wished.
Zaira had a quick glance at the reaction of the rest of the Weyr and frowned at the number of displeased faces she saw. Could they not see how beautiful this dragon was in its own right? Her brow drew together in annoyance at their reactions, and she turned her gaze back onto the White, if it was actually that.

R’reek looked to Kisa to see what her reaction was going to be to this new dragon, he didn’t know what her reaction would be towards this new dragon and he wondered what he rest of Perns reaction would be

”Sounds good” K’inzar said but his eyes were on the colourless dragon on the hatching ground, he looked over to G’ree to try and judge what the new weyrling Master reaction was. Kisa and R’reek were hard to see over all the heads but K’inzar could see the weyrleader moving about a bit. He turned to Zaira seeing she was transfixed with the newly hatched dragonet

Talia let out a gasp seeing this new dragon that broke free of its egg “Oh my!” she said her hands going to her mouth E’lric looked to see what had caused his sister to exclaim so. But it did not take him long to see the pail dragon. “Oh… is this good or bad?” E’lric asked not very sure what this could mean

The pale-coloed hatchling shook her head, settling back on her haunches, her wings spreading as she preened carefully, her tongue rasping over the filmy membrane of her wing. She seemed not to notice or care that whispers spreas faster than fire about her, seemed not to notice the looks she received, or the negative attitude of many.
While the colorless female cleaned herself and dried from the goo of the egg, three more hatchlings freed themselves. A Brown came first, darkly colored, followed by a pale Blue, and finally a Bronze who was, of all the hatchlings yet, the most normal looking. For a long moment all the hatchlings remained still on the sands, even the white pausing in her actions, her eyes fixed on the Bronze. Something about him was off, wrong. He was fine in appearance, but his eyes were dulled, as if suffering great pain.
The Bronze hissed, shifting from one foot to the next, his eyes darting restlessly from one hatchling to the next, until they landed on the Blue, a light seeming to spark in the beast's eyes, interest rising as he crouched, muscles coiling until he loosed them in a charge at his brother. The Blue screeched, turning to flee, and racing for the boys, rushing, one lad stepping foward, arms extended to the frightened Blue. It was the hatchling's bonded, and for a moment, it seemed the Blue would reach the boy, would find safety. A piercing cry rang from the blue as claws found hold in his sides, the Bronze having flung himself through the air, grabbing at the smaller dragon with a snarl. The boy screamed as well, flinging himself at the Bronze, battering the metallic head futilly, for in a heartbeat the Blue's neck was snapped, the Brone taking it in his maw and twisting his head.
The Boy holed in pain, falling away from the Bronze to sink limply to the scalding sands, eyes blank in mute grief.
The Brown hurtled foward, at the bronze, challenging the dragon, only to fall as well, the Bronze spinning, rearing back and wrapping his jaws around his brother's throat.
Durring the commotion, the final egg hatched, revealing another of the pale, white dragons, who looked at her still sister, mimicing the first-hatched white.
The Bronze snarled, looking at the two whites for a moment before eyeing the candidates, lips twitching in an inexplicable expression. With a rumble he lunged a the nearest boy, dragging him down, and there was no doubt he intended to kill. Again.
Kisa had been horror-stricken when the first white had hatched, but when the Bronze came forth and proved dangerous, her heart broke. Ths was not how a hatching should go, not how Ziinyth's hatching should go! She turned away from the hatching, to R'reek, searching his face for answers. He was Weyrleader! there had to be something he could do?
But no... What could anyone do? She closed her eyes, dropping, her face sinking to bury in the man's shoulder. "R'reek..."
The bopy the Bronze had caught writhed benetah the hatchling, helpless to the wrathful creature, sure his death loomed over him, waiting. Twin blurs of white knocked the Bronze aside, one standing over the boy protectively, the other facing the Bronze, staring at him, her tail lashing. It was the older of them, that faced her brother, seemingly ready to fight.
Would more death's plague this hatching? It seemed so, until the Bronze snarled, tossing his head before vanishing to the dark abyss of Between. The older of the pair turned looking at the female candidates curiously. Regally she padded into their midst, walking right to Mia and crooning, her head butting into the girl's stomache lightly. Mine, I am glad you waited for me. I had to wait for my sister so we could take care of the mean Bronze. I am Silvyth, and you are Mine.
The other white looked confused for a moment, seeming not to find the candidate she wanted, needed, in order to survive as her gaze went from the females to the males. Where? She had to be here somewher,e but where? Something made her look into the stands, searching the minds there, and stumbling over one, the one that was meant for her. A happy creel fell from her lips as she darted away from the candidates, her mindvoice echoing to one soul alone. Zaira!!!! Zaira where are you? Your Yazmyth needs you terribly!!!!
Mia, startled by the 'white', was knocked back a step, a hand reaching out to steady herself as she stared at Silvtyh with confusion. "Me? You... You want me?" Silvyth nodded, smirking, her tail twitching with amusement. Mia nodded, a smile spreadng over her lips, and she looped an arm o ver the silky neck of her dragon. "Well then, let's feed you, and... figure out what you are." I am me, and a dragon. What more need you know? The dragon's tone was filled with taunting, playful teasing of Hers as they walked companionably off the sands to the buckets of meat.

R’reek could only watch as the bronze attacked the other hatchlings his hear sunk, he was in shock at the bronze attacking its siblings. No this should not be happening. R’reek wanted to get up and do something but he couldn’t leave Kisa’s side as she buried her face in his shoulder
Riders made to move to go stop the bronze attack Talia let out a cry when the bronze attacked the blue
E’lric was on his feet making his way down the stand to the sand, reaching the boy who the blue had gone first, he witnessed the carnage the bronze was causing.
Leonth had been watching from a ledge in the sand and watching his children, but now he was disgusted at his new bronze son and let out an angry call or rage at the bronze, his call loud enough to rival Sephiroth’s He whished the bronze to leave these sands. He watched as the whites working together dealt with their brother and let out a hum of approval to them
“Our daughters do well Ziinyth's” The bronze said to his mate finding he was more proud of the few female’s that had hatched than the male.
When the bronze went between “No lament or cry for him, no honour in his death” the bronze ordered to all the dragons of the weyr and their riders.[/b]
R’reek heard his dragon order R’reek hugged Kisa “I’m sorry… this shouldn’t have happened” he said not knowing what to say or do to help.
He watched as one white left and the other walked round looking at the stand. “Oh by the first shell let the person realise it is them it is looking for” He muttered he did not wand more deaths.[/color]

F’hursna watched the whit hatch and then the bronze. F’hursna stumbled to sit down when he saw what the bronze did. This could not happen here not in a weyr that strived to breed out the hatred and anger in the riders and their dragons. He shuddered the loss of the new little lives hit him hard, F’hursna shuddered again weeping tears of sorrow what was happening.
-----------
[ The joy that had filled K’inzar when he had won the bet quickly left him like flame from a dragon
“Oh no” K’inzar was left speechless as he saw the bronze kill the little blue and he wept for the boy, just to find himself then to lose it. Never before had K’inzar thought himself to wish a dragon dead or stuck in the cold of between than he did this monster. He watched then as another white came and with its sibling attack the bronze and then the bronze its self go between. K’inzar expected the dreaded sound all riders feared, but instead Leonth loud call came.
<<he has forbidden any cry or mark honour in the bronzes death>>
A chill went down K’inzar’s back at hearing the bronzes message. He turned back to watch the two whites seeing one impress and then the other look around and not seaming to find who it wanted on the sand so looking to the stands. K’inzar looked round to try and see who it could be looking for, but a funny feeling made him look to Zaira

Rio cried when she saw what the bronze was doing what a horrible beast
G’ree himself felt ill at seeing the bronze attack its clutch mates, G’ree hugged Rio this was not something you expected at a hatching. “Stay here I’ll go give a hand” G’ree said and with that he got up following close on E’lric’s heel to the sand
Rio just nodded staying where she was for a moment before getting a grip on herself…she had to do something, she looked for F’hursna. She saw him at the very back and then saw him stumble back out of view. Worried Rio got to her feet racing to the back to where he was. When She reached him Rio could see the pain on the mans face and she didn’t know what made her do it but she went over and hugged the old weyrleader comforting him. Rio had never know her grandparents as they had died when she was still very small. But if Rio could chose a grandparent it would be someone like F’hursna.

The Harper watched on in horror as the bronze mauled the would have been blue rider, and yet despite the gruesome site she could not wrench her eyes away. It took one look at K'inzar next to her to know that this was not what was expected of a normal Hatching, but what had caused this Clutch to have so many aberrations?
From the corner of her eye she noticed the last egg Hatched however when she caught a glimpse of white, the same as that of the other dragon, the newly Hatched dragonet recieved her full attention. Two in the one clutch? Perhaps after all they were not a deviation of the five main colors as Ruth had been, for he had been one-of-a-kind there had been no other heard of as him, and yet there on the Sands in front of her sat two perhaps simialr creatures.
However her rambling thoughts were cut through by the most beautiful voice Zaira had ever heard, filling her head. It was unlike anything else before, and heard turned from side to side to identofy the source until she finally realised it was the smaller of the two Whites that called to her. Zaira's eyes grew wide, and she gave a wordless look to K'inzar, before standing taking a few tentative steps from the Stands.
Why are you taking so long? Come, come! Yazmyth called impatiently, and Zaira walked more purposefully towards the White, pushing herself over the barrier between Stands and Sands, the White barely giving her time to righten herself before colliding into her legs, and twining her tail around her knees.
It's ok, I'm not going anywhere anytime soon, no need to fret. Zaira gave an indulgent smile, as the most incredible feeling washed over her, a gladness that was indescribable and uncomparable to anything she had ever felt before.

R’reek saw Zaira and make her way from the stands to the white that stood waiting for her, he was shocked that the dragon had chose someone from the stand, but he was happy that the white had found her. He wanted to see what these dragons would do. R’reek say G’ree following another rider to the sand. R’reek turned Kisa to face him “Kisa…i must speak to G’ree…we needed to get this under control before the weyrlings and the guests panic…” R’reek scanned the crowed of shocked face…looking for Rio but she had gone from view, where had she gone she had just been their, but his eyes caught sight of Talia wearing the East Cliff Colours.
<<”Leonth ask Lady Talia’s queen to ask her to come down here”>> R’reek said
“Two seniore queens can swear the rest of the dragons and the firelizards to silence” R’reek said R’reek know he could not keep this from all of Pern but he could contain any rumours from spreading
Quinith took the message and passed it to her rider “Ziinyth, Leonths mine asks use to order the dragons and the little ones to silence” The older Gold said knowing as a gold any male would follow her orders.
Talia heard her dragons message and made her way quickly to where R’reek and Kisa were.
When she reached she could see that Kisa was very shaken. Talia hugged Kisa “I am sorry this had to happen on your first hatching” She said then looking to R’reek he was very young for a Weyrleader

K’inzar realised in a flash that the white was Zaira “quick go to her before she goes between” He said to the Harper thinking they did not needed any more tragedy. K’inzar followed Zaira down to the sands, standing close by to help the Harper get the white off the sands without hindrance.
F’hursna was only mildly aware that someone had come next to him and hugged him. He turned his head to see who it was and for a moment with tear blinded eyes he thought it was Palin, no it was to young then it was his great granddaughter but as his eyes cleared he realised it was Rio. He patted the girls arm, it was very strange how this young gold could remind him so much of both he ones he loved and had lost.

E’lric grabbed the boy who the blue had rushed to. E’lric saw the shock in the boys eyes and know it must be terrible to lose your dragon so early just as you had found them. E’lric gathered the boy up knowing that the boy was not going to move under his own will. E’lric turned nearly walking into G’ree “Go get the healers” E’lric said knowing that the boy would need attention

Kisa refused to look at the sands, even after the Bronze had fled to his icy death, but rose stiffly, turning away from R'reek and walking through the milling, confused crowd, shoving past those who did not part easily for her. She walked away from the stands, still not looking at the carcasses of the blue and Brown, to her golden love, who lay defeated, curled in a tight ball where she had removed herself when the hatching began, only turning in on herself when the final Bronze showed his colors to the world.
She had heard the request, or rather command, from the older Gold, but a part of her wanted to ignore it. Maybe it wasn't just this Weyr, Top Point, that had a problem, maybe it wasn't just the residents here who were not right for Pern, who were a danger to all that a dragonrider stood for. She had not been hatched on these sands, had not been conceived in these skies, and yet... Yet her clutch had yelded two mutants, two freaks, dragons who had no color, no name by which they could be defined, and a Bronze, a king of all colors, who had turned sour and attacked, had killed two of his siblings and would have killed more, would have killed candidates.
Kisa reached her beloved Gold, kneeling beside the queen's skull and wrapping her arms around the sleek hide, her face buried in the metallic canvass. "My love... My dearest there is nothing you could have done, nothing we did wrong. Please... Please my sweet Ziinyth, my precious Gold, don't worry. The... The whites... they did well, they acted like dragons, like queens, be proud of that, even if they are sterile, even if they never Rise or if they die early..." It was a thought that only just then occured to either Gold or rider, the twin mutations finding early deaths in their future.
Ziinyth moaned, her hide taking a gray cast at such thoughts, thoughts of her little Bronze who'd been a killer, how pretty he had been! He would have made a fine addition, so strong he was... The mutations, graceful beings, one as large as any Gold, with the ability to send away a rogue king... She cared not that her mate had forbidden anyone to mourn, she was no fickle Green to obey a Bronze, was no simple Blue to listen to him. She was a Gold, and if she wished to mourn her losses, she would. Her voice rose in the only cry to dare and break Leonth's decree, mourning not only the Bronze, but the Blue and the Brown, and the thought that her two daughters would not lead full lives.
Kisa sighed, closing her eyes and letting the Gold do as she needed, understanding all too well what thoughts plagued the queen. When finally Ziinyth let her voice fade away, Kisa stroked her eyeridges, murmering softly to the dragon, easing both their pain and sorrow at this hatching, this supposedly happy day.
The gold finally found the strength in herself to lift her head, gazing at the rest of the Weyr gathered in the stands, and exhale slowly. By the command of Top Point's senior queen, no dragon, no firelizard, and no wher will speak of this event to anyone. It will be erased from all memory, and to mention it to another will result in most dire consequences. By command of the Weyrwoman of Top Point, no rider will repeat the events of this day to another, will not remind the dragons, flits, or whers, at cost of loosing all rank, all command, and being banished from our home, our Weyr. Her voice went to not only the dragons and firelizards, but to the riders as well, the gravity of her demands so great.
Silvyth turned her head away from her bucket of meat, pondering what was so very horrible about her existence, about Yazmyth's existence. They were assets to Pern, protectors, had she not shown that? Maybe... But then maybe they would have greater trials waiting for them in their futures. It was an unpleasent thought, and the pale dragon's muzzle wrinkled, shaking her head at the meat Miaxhote offered her. She was full, for now, and there were things they had to do yet, things that if left undone would make life harder as they aged.
Mia listened to Ziinyth as well, disheartened by the seriousness of this matter, a large part of her certain that a meeting of the Weyrs would take place soon, and both she and the woman bonded to one of these pale new colors would ave to attend.

Her attention having been focused on the gold, Zyrii had managed to miss entirely the hatching of the first white. By the time the incident occurred, she was already off the sands. Therefore, the sudden keening and order were a complete surprise; the keening, she assumed, marked a hatchling who failed to Impress going between. But she was clueless about the order. That is, until she looked up reflexively and saw the two odd-colored dragons. White? How had that happened? But then a thought struck her: How would this be kept secret? Surely the obviously colorless hides would be clearly noticeable whenever they flew outside the Weyr.
It had to be something else, but she couldn't fathom what. Unable to come up with another possibility, she focused her attention back on the queen whom she was feeding. Surely Judiath would be full soon. She could only eat so much at her current size, right? Do you know what the commotion is about? It wasn't until after the question formed in her mind that she recalled that the ban on speaking of it would apply to conversations between dragons and riders as well.
The young gold tore hungrily at the food she was given, wanting more at once than she was permitted, wanting to swallow faster than she was allowed. She was so hungry, so why were they restricting her? And then, on top of that, the voice of her mother suddenly filled her head, an order to not speak about something. About what? How was she supposed to know what not to talk about if the queen was so vague? Just as she turned her attention back to her food, however, another voice disrupted her. Zyrii, this time, wondering about the forbidden subject. I have no idea. Can't I just eat? The earlier hyperactivity was momentarily suppressed in favor of stuffing herself with the meat in front of her.
Her dragon rejecting her question in favor of food, Zyrii considered it in her mind once more. The command came right after the keening, and, come to think of it, there had been something odd about that, but she couldn't place what. Maybe the banned subject was related to the death that had just been mourned? But it didn't make sense to be so strictly forbidden from speaking of the death of a dragon. It was just too confusing, and she was feeling the beginning of a headache. Not to mention, Judiath's speed had slowed. The young queen would finish eating soon, and Zyrii didn't want to distress the dragon by having her thoughts in turmoil. Sternly forcing her focus back on the task at hand, she pushed the senior queen's odd behavior to the back of her mind.
Just as her rider calmed, Judiath quit eating, moving her muzzle away from the meat as if believing that Zyrii needed an extra sign. Dragons lived in the present, and she had already forgotten the strange words that had interrupted her meal minutes before. However, she caught the edge of the girl's worry, almost enough to bring the incident back to mind. What is wrong, Mine? The wedge-shaped head tilted as if a mimicry of a human look at confusion would get her more answers.
I'm sorry, I was lost in my own thoughts. How could anything be wrong now that I have you? The gold seemed satisfied by the response, so Zyrii made to walk to their new quarters, only to realize she didn't know where to go. Had she been told after being Searched? If she had, she couldn't remember now. The excitement of the Hatching and the odd ending to it had flooded her mind, leaving little room for previous considerations. She stopped after only a few steps, attempting to focus her mind on events before the Hatching, back when her first ride on a dragon had brought her to the Weyr... Struggling, she managed to slowly piece together most of the events, but the question remained. Why did she always forget the important things? Assuming, that is, that someone had indeed told her in the first place.

Arkth added his own sad call but his was for the little brown and the little blue he respected Leonth demand for no respect or liment for the Bronze…dragons do not fight dragons.
Arkth turned his head to look at Ziinyth the blue lowering his head
K’inzar stayed with Zaira and her pale dragon, but the good graces he hoped the other weyrlings would not hear this

Zaira had thought nothing could marr this beautiful moment as she came to the realisation that she was in fact now a dragon rider despite all the odds. The former Harper would never need to beg for a ride a-dragonback, and had Impressed what was surely one of the most individual dragons to have ever Hatched on Pern's Sands. Had not Yazmyth and her larger sister already shown their worth on the Sands? No other dragon had attempted to stop the mauling bronze, not even any of the much larger and older dragons who surely would not have found it so hard to prevent the newly Hatched dragon. And yet Yazmyth, her wonderful, unique dragon, had not hesitated, had barely Hatched from her egg before coming to the aide of her sister and putting an end to the carnage.
She felt rather awkward remaining on the Sands, the Candidates who had not been Impressed were bundled off and the Weyrlings had passed into another part of the Weyr, but where? Too entranced by the Hatching, she had not bothered to see where those who had Impressed went, and why would she have cared? Who would have predicted she would count amongst the most newest riders of Top Point? Zaira was in the process of asking K'inzar, who had just arrived at her side, when she realised there was an opening directly in front of her, and the form of the other 'white' and her rider disappeared through it.
Let's follow them Yazmyth, Zaira called to her dragon, the white happily prancing by her side as they made there way into the adjacent room where bowls full of chunks of meat adorned the tables. She had heard little of what occurred after Impression, however this seemed obvious enough and Zaira picked up one of the bowls, scooping up the meat in her hand as Yazmyth hungrily inhaled the globs of muscle.
She watched on in awe as her dragon voraciously ate the meat, glad for K'inzar's presence as she had attended not one of the Candidate classes and feared she would have made a mess of things without the older rider's guidance. "I don't think I ever really understood just how hungry a newly Hatched dragon was until now." Zaira scooped up another glob of the meat, passing it into the hungry maw of Yazmyth, her brilliant smile still having lost none of it's intensity.
Yazmyth was only half way through the bowl when Leonth's pronoucement interrupted her eating, but it hardly perturbed her. She had had no inclincation in mourning that foolish bronze anyway, she and Silvyth had dealt with him, had forced him between. She did not regret her part in that fisaco at all. Yazmyth butted Zaira's hand, begging for more of the meat, and the Harper hurried to obey.
However it was then the melodious and yet rather terrifying voice of a mourning and furious Ziinyth broke into the minds of Zaira and Yazmyth. Zaira stood frozen as the words were seared into her head, her hand having clenced into a fist, the meat oozing between her tightly clutched fingers. Surely what she was hearing was wrong, such a decree could not be made. For if she was not to speak of this to anyone, how could she tell her family about her exciting news if she was sworn to silence?
Zaira shook her head, her previously ecstatic mood succumbing to the cold fury that seemed to have crept into her veins. Zaira realised this was not just about the bronze, but the fact Ziinyth had given birth to dragons that were not 'normal'. It seemed obvious to her that the Weyrleaders did not want anyone to know of the presence of her darling Yazmyth and the other peculiar dragon. But why were they so ashamed, how could they even think such a terrbile thoughts after how Yazmyth and her sister had proven themselves above and beyond any other dragon in Top Point? And what were they going to do to prevent the knowledge slipping out? Prevent them from leaving the Weyr? No, that would not work because someone might visit, catch a glimpse and start asking questions. Banish them to some deserted area where there presence would offend no ones delicate sensitivies? That seemed more likely, and then everyone could pretend that nothing untoward had ever occurred. That was until perhaps another dragon like Yazmyth Hatched.
The newly Impressed rider spun around on her booted foot, her eyes flashing dangerously, as she turned to face K'inzar. "And do you too think this? That Yazmyth's presence and that of her sister's should be censored, that I should be mortified that my dragon is perhaps a bit different to what may have been expected?" She barely paused for breath before continuing, "And don't you dare give me some lame response that we are not to speak of this. I will speak of my dragon should I please and if that means facing the wrath of Ziinyth, Kisa and the whole entire Weyr, don't doubt for a moment I will."
Beneath the obvious anger she felt, Zaira could not help but feel betrayed. Kisa had been a friend, and yet through her Queen they had all but pronouced a death sentence upon Yazmyth, for the life of an exile was not far from that, unless....the next thought that encroached upon Zaira's mind sent her reeling. Surely no one would be as cruel to even suggest that, let alone perform such a heinous crime. And yet she could not be so sure.
Zaira realised she needed to speak to the other rider who had Impressed the 'white', but how could she approach the girl with so many riders and weyrfolk milling around the place? If they were to make any decisions it would have to be in secret, away from the accusing and prying eyes of the Weyr.

K’inzar had been standing guard over the Harper and her dragon as they feed, thing were spiralling out of hand. K’inzar took a step back when Zaira spoke to him in such a sharp tone “Hang on a moment I think your getting the right wrong end of the stick here…no one said anything about your white dragon or that other one… all that the silence is for is to stop any silly stupid rumours go flying about like “A bronze hatched and it killed all the other hatchlings” Or “all the hatchlings went between”… R’reeks not stupid he knows he can’t keep this news strictly in the weyr, it will come out eventually and he will have to put it in the records.” K’inzar realised that though R’reek and Kisa may be trying to stop tails travelling out of the weyr you would be hard pressed to stop any start in the weyr and personal paranoid. Zaira was obviously feeling victimised by the call for silence. “And needed I remind you that before yours hatched we had had 2 strange coloured dragons and that slightly washed out bronze. So get it out of your head that you’re the only one being victimised here as there is the whole clutch to be considered and the young gold. Also how do you think things look for Kisa and R’reek? There will have to be a conclave of the weyrleaders called” said knowing he may sound sharp himself but he was having to try and get through to Zaira that she was not the only weyrling who was going to have troubles with this incident. “And as for what I think…no one cares…I am a blue rider and my opinion counts for very little in any place” K’inzar said, he had got use to the rank of a blue rider over the turns.
K’inzar looked at Yazmyth if he was ever asked his opinion he liked the white colour he though they has strong personality. Like their riders. “If she is done feeding you both needed to go to the weyrling barracks, as most dragons like a good sleep after a good feed” K’inzar said his tone turning back to its kind one. “I wont be surprised though if G’ree orders use all to remain in the barracks to avoid questioning by the guests”

G’ree halted as E’lric turned the boy in his arms. G’ree shouted for several other riders to lend a hand.
<”Aloth speak to Morga ask her to make up some fellis”> G’ree asked his dragon he know it was not done often getting a dragon to speak to another person but G’ree had got Aloth to do it a few times when he had needed help from someone.
“Talk the boy to one of the lower rooms…I have to see to the rest of the weyrlings” G’ree said he gave Aloth a few moments to send a message to Morga before talk to Aloth again
<”Aloth tell the weyrlings by my order they are to stay in the barracks till I come to talk to them”>
[glow=orange,1,200]<I will do…what of the little ones the bronze left?> the brown had been angered by the bronze for its killing, but had keened for it in silence as it was still a life lost [/glow]
<”I do not know my friend”> He said looking at the little lifeless bodies of the brown and blue. G’ree’s heart cried for the loss but he kept a sober face. The little dragons could not be left like that.
G’ree unclipped his clock from his shoulder’s ripping it in two and taking it and placing it over the little brown who had tried to stop it. G’ree used the other half to cover the blue, this was a black day. If only the whites had hatched sooner they would have stopped the bronze before it had even killed the blue or brown. G’ree looked round for who had got the two whites but not seeing them.
G’ree hurried off the sand to got to the weyrlings. He turned the corner to where the few remaining feed seeing Ki’inzar standing guard over the women with the white… G’ree was shocked to see it was Zaira, G’ree was about to rush over to them when he heard the words exchanged by the two.
G’ree could not believe the Harpers words, the rushed over. “You’re a silly women if you think such things…the order for silence is over the bronze killing, not your white dragon or if you forgot you laws no dragon has ever killed another…till now…what do you think that will do when people hear it…it will shake Pern to the core. Now get to barracks…I’ll come talk to use all soon” G’ree said heading off before his anger and temper made him lash out
((elainsie I hope you don’t mind G’ree getting angry at Zaira. If you do then I will change it))
