K’inzar turned sharp at G’rees harsh tone to Zaira, everyone was snapping at one another for no good cause, its was bad if the weyr was at each other over things.
“G’ree didn’t mean anything by that, he’s got a short temper that’s why he is at Top Point…should see him around holders” K’inzar said trying to lighten the mood that had settled like a storm cloud over the weyr.
“Come on and we’ll get you settled in with the other weyrlings and I wont let anything happen to your white dragon…I promise”

Voices started to penetrate Zyrii's frustrated recollections. As she came back to reality, she realized it sounded like an argument. However, she missed most of it lost in her own little world and barely caught someone excusing G'ree's behavior. Turning back, she realized that the two gathered around one of the girls who had a white had not been among the candidates. Were they riders, then? What was going on? It seemed to be none of Zyrii's business, though, so she couldn't think of a reason to jump into the conversation. Judiath, did you hear was going on?
The gold, now full, was all set to answer her Bonded with the same energy and hyperbole she had declared her hunger with. However, now that hunger was out of her mind, a powerful urge to sleep seemed to be coming over her. I don't know, Mine, I'm soooo tired I might faint right here! Instead, the exaggeration went to the other end of the spectrum, though the dragon did seem a bit unsteady. If we don't get somewhere I can sleep, I'll collapse here! The young queen seemed to believe that Zyrii needed another warning, though even the effort of telepathy seemed taxing.
"Ah! Judiath, I'm sorry!" The phrasing was taken so literally that the poor girl yelled out her apologies, unable to keep the presence of mind required to keep up the previous silent communication. Zyrii looked around as if she had already forgotten where she was, then remembered why she was stopped. That problem seemed to have yet to resolve itself. It would be embarrassing to admit that she couldn't remember all of what they had been told as candidates, but better to embarrass herself than to let the queen faint from exhaustion. How would that look? "Uhm... Because of all the commotion, I can't remember where to go. Could someone tell me?" She had managed to calm herself enough before speaking that her volume was enough to carry around the feeding grounds. The real question was if someone knew and would help her in time, as the girl still believed her dragon to be in peril.

K’inzar heard another voice heard asking for help. He saw it was the girl who had impressed the Queen. The blue rider was very annoyed that no one had stayed near the girl and her gold to help if she needed it. K’inzar moved over to Zyrii, he would help her before G’ree found out that no one was keeping an eye on the girl and her gold as he had a good idea it would push G’ree to lose his temper even more and K’inzar did not want to be the one to feel the Brown riders sharp words.
“Here come on this way” he said when close enough to the girl to talk to her. Thinking the best thing he could do to help was to get as many of the weyrlings to the barracks. He was not looking forward to the feast to night it would be a sad occasion

No one had had the courgae yet it seemed to beseek Ziinyth of what to do with the still bodies, though a rider had shown the courtesy of covering them, as if that would wipe away the dark stains in the hearts of the Gold and Kisa. Kneeling low, Ziinyth silently told kisa to mount, they would take care of the mess themselves, for was it not their own fault?
A swift admonishment for such thoughts followed, Kisa scolding her beloved for even daring to think that way. There was nothing that could be done, what happened had happened for a reason. She hauled herself to the gold's shoulders, settling into the notch that seemed made for her body perfectly and clinging to the ridge before her. Though her skirts had hiked themselves to her kneesshe ignored it, she was no holdgirl, who thought it criminal to show an inch of skin at an improper time, she was a rider, one of many who held no qualms with their bodies.
With Kisa in place, Ziinyth rose and padded across the sands, to the two still forms, her head dropping low to nudge them a final time, as though perhaps by doing so they would spring to life and Impress. Alas, as she had known no such thing happened, and the Gold gently curled her claws around them, holding with the firm affection and tenderness found only in the most doting of mothers. Balancing on her hindlegs, using her tail for security, she splayed her wings, filling them with air as she shoved her bulk from the ground with a spray of sand, pulling herself to acceptable heights until she was sure it was safe to venture Between to deposite her somber cargo. Soundlessly the Gold and rider vanished to the dark abyss, returning moments later with a burst of frigid air, no longer carrying the two dead hatchlings, cloaked in the garbs used to hide them, the Gold easing back to the ground and lowering her chest so that Kisa could slide to the ground, trailing a hand along the silken hide behind her.
There were many questions she had to answer, she knew, and as her beloved Gold returned to the sky to make her way to their weyr, Kisa tightened her jaw and strode foward.
As she approached the group of young weyrlings and older riders, she cleared her throat, lifting a hand for attention. "The training of our newest gold will be done by Rio and myself, though she will attend some classes with her peers most will be conducted privately. The teaching of the two whites has not yet been decided. For the time being they are to be treated like any other dragon of a Blue rank." Why she used Blue for that she didn't know, as anyone could see that the females were easily more ranked to Gold, having sent away the Bronze without lifting paw... But it would cause more panic, to state them so highly ranked, and Blues were common enough that perhaps her statement would put some at ease.
Mia glanced to the side, ignoring most of the talk around her. She had no heart to listen to anyone speak poorly of her sweet Silvyth, though she was glad to see the other white Impressed, and to one who was so quick to defend her.
Silvyth scowled though, haughtily lifting her head and swishing hre tail when she was told she'd be ranked as a Blue. Her gaze shifted to the nearest dragon of that color, eyeing him with mild disdain. She was as large as Judiath was, how could she possibly be compared to such a small dragon? Her wit was far superior as well! Sulking she turned her head, firmly pushing Mia along until they stood beside Zaira and Yazmyth. Sister Yazmyth, why does our Gold look down on us so? We are meant for better, are we not? she spoke to her sibling, looking directly at the slightly smaller dragon, tilting her head curiously.
Mia looked at those gathered, keeping contact physically with Silvyth, refusing to let her hand be separated from the white. She didn't like the way some looked at the pale dragons, while thankfully most who had gathered around were not so opposed, she could sense that there were people in the Weyr who would rather see the two females dead. She looked at Zaira, a part of her mind wondering what they had in common that made these two so very special dragons Impress them. She knew little about the Harper woman, a fact for which she scolded herself.

”What?” K’inzar said hearing the weyrwomens words but they would not register in his head. “Weyrwomen Kisa surly you can not mean this, the two whites ordered a bronze between and only gold are know to possess this gift, surely they deserve better rank than a blue, brown or bronze at least is more befitting them and to honour their deed… They will out size any blue in a matter of a week and you would stump their development at making them train the same as blues” K’inzar argued knowing well what little rank the blue riders held in and out of the weyr, Kisa may as well ranked them as watch wher’s.
K’inzar know he was speaking out if turn here, but what was the worst Kisa could do to him, make him stay at Top Point,, he was here voluntarily anyway, but she could make his leave, K’inzar hoped not, K’inzars job given to him by F’hursna was to keep tails about Top Point going

Kisa sighed, moving to place her mouth close to K'inzar's ear as she whispered quietly to him. "It is only temporary, but those hwo do not know all that happened here today will be more comforted if they believe the mutations are no more that strange blues than if we admitted them to be ranking higher. Ther eis little known yet, bite your tongue on this matter for now, and if you wish to discuss it further come find me in my weyr later on." She prayed the Bluerider would listen to her, for though she understood his outburst, she couldn't have him opposing it so openly when he didn't understand her motives.

Ah, a response. But just as it seemed someone was going to show her where to go, the Weyrwoman appeared to make an announcement. The whites would be treated as blues? They seemed a bit big for that, but... No, more importantly, her guide had been distracted. Now he was arguing with the Weyrwoman and it seemed she wasn't about to be led anywhere. With a sigh she quietly listened to the conversation, hoping for a clue as to what she missed after her Impression. Ordered a bronze between? Is that what the silence order had been about? Surely if such a thing happened and the whites weren't being shunned, then the bronze must have done something worse... But it was hard to think with Judiath projecting her tired feelings to her Bonded.
I will collapse! The third warning was accompanied by a bit of a swaying motion, as if the gold was too tired to remember where her center of balance was and it was all she could do to stay upright. When can I sleep, Mine? The voice was petulant but weary, as if the last of the dragon's strength was being used to communicate this complaint, though it was really more of an exaggeration on the young queen's part.
I know, I know. You have said it three times. But the Weyrwoman's announcement has stolen the attention of my guide, so we will have to wait. That's right, blame it on someone else. It was the only thing Zyrii could do to assuage her own feeling of guilt at neglecting the exhausted dragon, though it really only did a small bit. But anything would help to keep her calm while she waited for another discussion to end.

G’ree turned watched as Kisa and Ziinyth moved over to the two lifeless bodies, that he had covered. He saw the queen nudge the little bodies hoping to bring life back to them. He felt such sorrow for Ziinyth, he know how painful the loss of young life was, it was not fair for such young to have their lives ended so soon when they had not even started to live them. G’ree stayed where he was as the gold and her rider took the little bodies between, that was something G’ree had been putting off thinking of doing. It should have been him taking the little bodies of the brown and blue between not Kisa, those dragons were meant to be in his care when they hatched and look what had happened.
G’ree felt defeated before he had even began. G’ree stayed where he was long after Kisa had returned
G’ree heard K’inzar protesting about something “Oh what’s he on about now” G’ree went to check seeing Kisa talking to K’inzar G’ree heard the mention of ranking as a blue and seeing the white dragons. it didn’t take a lot to work out what Kisa had said and what had got K’inzar annoyed or as annoyed as K’inzar could be, to this day G’ree could not remember ever hearing the blue rider get really annoyed.
G’ree understood Kisas wisdom in making the whites at the same rank as a blue it would mean less trouble till things died down off the bronze attack, then they could asses the whites better with out all the weyrs putting their noses in. it was for the white dragons and their riders own good
G’ree walked off to leave K’inzar to what ever he would do… G’ree he had think of what he was to say to his weyrlings. G’ree headed back into the hatching ground it was nearly empty except for a few people. G’ree found a quiet corner sitting down on the bench thinking what he was to say

One of the few people who was not taken to shock and horror over this whole incident. Elday stood to the side watching as people ran around like headless werrys. She had showed no sympathy for the little blue and brown what had died only a tad annoyed that it had upset Vieth. But her smugness still remained over how badly the day had gone for Kisa today.
Elday had watched as Kisa took the little bodies between, with a small wish the queen would go there herself, but she came back, well the day could not go all her way. Elday spotted G’ree walk back on to the sands and go sit on his own.
Elday walked over a smug look on her face “Oh what a shame to day has been, looks like our new Weyrwomens dragon has a few problems in her breeding, or do you think it is R’reeks dragon “ Elday said

K’inzar listened to what Kisa told him, he bit back any anger that would come out of his mouth.
“As you order Weyrwomen” K’inzar said he would do as he was ordered, but he was still not happy with the whole sneaking about with the whole thing.
“May is suggest you tell G’ree since he is weyrling master” K’inzar said as it was no good just him knowing what was laid a head for the two whites.
K’inzar turned to Zyrii seeing the dragon a sleep on its feet “You can carry her if she is to tired to walk… something I suggest you may want to try once before the first 7 day as it will never again be small enough for you to hold in your arms” K’inzar said knowing he had carried Arkth when he had fist hatched, though that had been down to the fact that when the blue did not want to move it did not move, something it still did just now K’inzar could not pick him up and move him. “come on this way” K’inzar said to Zyrii and Zaira thinking the further they were away from the sands the better

"Carry her, huh?" The question was barely muttered as the girl looked thoughtfully at the gold. She was larger than her siblings, but not so much so that, with cooperation, she could not be carried. Judiath, since you're so tired, I'll carry you, okay? But you have to cooperate since you're larger than the other dragons. The mental comment got little response from the queen, causing Zyrii to simply sigh and struggled to lift the hatchling from a standing position without upsetting her. It required some effort, but she managed to get a good hold on the gold with little reaction. Once sure that she would not drop her, she turned to follow the rider from the Sands.
"I don't think it'll take that long. She's pretty big to start with." It took a good amount of effort to walk while carrying a large animal, because of both balance and weight. Not to mention, Zyrii simply was not used to it. We'll be there soon, Judiath, and you'll be able to sleep properly. Sorry I'm carrying you like this, it must be uncomfortable. Once again, the only response was a slight twitch from the queen who was all but asleep already. Apparently it was more comfortable for the one being carried than for the one doing the carrying.

Talia had been trying to help by directing the none weyr guests to the dinner hall for the feast, hopefully food and plenty if wine would go somewhere to hazing the day though she did not think any amount of wine would lesson the blow of what had happened.
Talia had watched Elday with only a fleeting interest it annoyed Talia that she was just walking round while everyone else was trying their best to help, also it was the look on her face…it looked like she was enjoying the sight of this carnage.
Talia watched as she entered the hatching ground and something in Talia’s mind said following her was a wise course. Talia entered the hatching ground the hot sand under her feet making creeping almost imposable, but Talia know it could be done, she had done the dare that East Cliff had about getting in to the hatching ground.
Talia got upts close enough to hear Eldays words
“looks like our new Weyrwomens dragon has a few problems in her breeding”
These words angered Talia and she changed from a creep to a storm walking up close to Elday

G’ree took his time carefully thinking over every word he was to say to the weyrling, he could not hide the facts that had happened that a bronze had hatched and killed two of its clutch mates and then two whites that had the powers of a gold to order the bronze between. But he could not make up his mind if he should order the weyrlings to remain in the barracks or not as some had family and even though with the events that had happened this was still their day also.
G’ree was brought out of his thoughts by Eldays comments “Shout up” was all he would say to her. He would not let this green rider brake his control on his temper that was already down to its last thread. He would not lose control and especially not to this bad excuse for a green rider. Out of the corner of his eye he saw someone walking over and from the colour they wore it was form east cliff.

”aw…are we all upset over a little blue and brown…how sad” Elday said in a mocking sympathy tone
Talia heard enough to know she did not like this women one bit. Talia grabbed her.
Elday spun round to confront her attacked
Talia swung her fist making it collide with Eldays face “Don’t you dare speak ill of any of my dragons blood line again. Who do you thing you are to take such joy at seeing this happen” Talia growled
Elday was stunned by the blow the women had given her and because it had come out of the blue she had not retaliated yet, but now here senses returned the blow

F’hursna managed to get his thoughts back into order enough to know what he should do. He got Rio to gently let go, “Thank you” He said to her “I think Palin would have liked you very much Rio” He said to the young gold rider, knowing his mate most surely would have liked the young girl and she would have liked Kisa to. F’hursna got up his eyes on the empty sand noticing that some one had removed the little dead dragon’s. then his eyes say Talia strike Elday. What was that about he wondered
K’inzar laughed at Zyrii comment “By the first seven day she should have doubled her size” K’inzar said remembering Arkth being that small

Rio straitened up not sure what she should do now, but then F’hursna spoke mentioning Palin and how she may have liked Rio and Kisa. “I would have like to have met her” Rio said and would have said more but her attention was drawn to what F’hursna was looking at.
Rio saw Elday and Talia and hear the sound of skin making impact with skin and saw the green rider stumble. Rio was shocked she didn’t think Talia as the kind to him another rider even if the were as nasty as Elday
G’re himself was shocked by the East Cliff Weyrwomens action, He jumped up to stop Elday from acting even more stupidly. He grabbed her arms “Don’t be so stupid” He said knoing that Elday would be in real trouble if she struck Talia back

Talia looked at Elday and G’ree “I would listen to him as i will wipe the floor with you” ”And if she doesn’t i will” E’lric said walking onto the sands after leaving the boy with the healers he realised he had left his sister on her own so had come back.
Elday gleared at Talia and E’lric and struggled against G’rees grip “But look at what happen because of one of your dragons daughters clutch”

The newly Impressed Harper¡¦s eyebrows meet in the middle, her forehead creased, as she listened to K¡¦inzar speak, only just managing to bite her tounge and prevent the words that threatened to tumble out. He did not get it at all, she concluded when he finally finished talking. She did not feel victimised, could not care less if she was excluded from the Weyr or if everywhere she went she was met with cold stares and silence. Zaira could live quite well as such; other¡¦s peoples opinions hardly bothered her. It was that her dragon, her beautiful Yazmyth, would be ill treated as a result. K¡¦inzar could try to convince her all her liked that the other dragons were unusual, but in the end they were the colors expected. The few oddities were what made the dragons individual, no two dragons were alike after all. Her dragon and the other white were quite clearly something different, and if there was one thing people feared it was the unknown.
¡§I am sure the Weyrleaders will have no qualms in continuing to cover this whole affair up, should it come to the Conclave, for if they intend to inform the other Weyrs why all the secrecy now? Surely it would be the best in everyone¡¦s interest to have the truth circled before the rumors get out and things get to such an extent that Kisa and R¡¦reek lose all control of the situation. But then again, what would I know?¡¨ Zaira gave a shrug of her shoulders and had spun around on her booted heel about to go to the barracks when she noticed a man approach her.
It was evident he was less than pleased, and yet Zaira maintained her spot, crossing her arms against her chest, and holding herself to achieve her greatest height. Her eyes danced dangerously in her face, as the man sputtered out his tirade, her lips pressed so tightly together they appeared white. ¡§Do you really think the Weyr would have contracted me to teach its children had I been stupid?¡¨ Her tone was scathing, the man¡¦s ire only adding more fuel to her own fury. ¡§Because it seems that¡¦s what you are implying. And what everyone fails to see is that no matter how you try to cover this up there were too many guests here today to silence them all. It will get out whether you like it or not, and the sooner the truth is known the better. The very fact that you would attempt to hide something of this magnitude will make people suspicious of foul play. And yet it seems I am the only one that see this.¡¨
The woman took a deep breath before kneeling down to face Yazmyth. Yazmyth had remained silent during the number of exchanges, chewing slowly on a piece of meat despite have been satiated quite some time ago. As she watched Zaira defend her, the smaller white congratulated herself on her choice of rider. Zaira was exactly the type of person she would need as her advocate, for although Yazmyth herseld could do much in the end her capabilities had a limit.
}:I am so sorry about all this, I truly am. But know that whatever happens I will always side with you. If we have to leave, so be it, I have no time for small minded people who can¡¦t see just how wonderful you really are.:{ Zaira¡¦s mind voice was filled with the wondrous array of love, affection and warmth she felt for her dragon, a voice she had never used with any man, never would. Always Yazmyth would be first, before all others.
I know. That¡¦s why your Mine. The white crooned, rubbing her head against Zaira¡¦s knee however the White¡¦s head jerked up as Kisa entered the open room and pronounced that she and her sister Silvyth would be ranked Blue. The white¡¦s eyes became an agitated yellow. No this was wrong, she was not a Blue, Silvyth was not Blue. They were as close to a blue as a wherry was to being a dragon. Yazmyth turned to her sister in response, It¡¦s because we are different. If we had been Golds and sent the Bronze between we would have been celebrated. But no instead we are an oddity, and as such scorned.
¡§Yazmyth and her sister ranked as Blues? And tunnel snakes can fly.¡¨ Zaira scoffed, her voice echoing around the room, as she stood up from her position next to Yazmyth. ¡§Come on Yazmyth, I have no wish to remain where we are not wanted,¡¨ and Zaira stormed off into the direction of the Weyrlings Barracks, her dark hair like a banner streaming out behind her.
((Dragonriderfire I don¡¦t mind at all. In fact it¡¦s enjoyable ƒº ))

”What cover up? at the moment everyone is trying to calm everything down and R’reek does not cover things up. He owns up to his faults and mistakes. The Conclave will want to talk to you and the other lass and Kisa and R’reek can do little but do as they are told and if it escaped your keen Harper notice but R’reek is still just a young lad who is far from being ready for all of this” K’inzar said Zaira was very focuses on how all of this was affecting her. But this had a nock on affect.
“And i suppose you’ll be happy if Kisa and R’reek are removed from being weyrleaders and another put in their place till Rio’s gold rises” K’inzar said knowing that Zaira was not wanting…
“It also may not have crossed your mind but you being put with use blues may offend use just as much as you. its no fun being this low on the ladder” K’inzar said knowing a few of his fellow blue riders would see this as an insult to them.
K’inzar watched Zaira go “And you may not have noticed but unless your white grows an extra 10 foot and learns to fly and go between in the next 7 days your stuck here as Top Point is accusable by dragon back only” K’inzar called after her
