“Think what?, i wasn’t thinking anything” T’vin said his voice going very high pitched, wondering if his thoughts had been that plain on his face.
Or had the dragons been telling each other what their riders were thinking.

Zi looked at S’ren then T’vin wondering what the young man had been thinking of. Then she wondered if it was because S’ren had offered Astra a glass of wine, what was wrong with that, Astra was of age and was aloud a drink of wine.
Or was it because S’ren was showing an interest in Astra, well there was nothing wrong in that Astra’s dragon would rise soon and Astra had not shown any favouritism out of the male rider, though some had tried to gain it over the last few sevendays.

“You know what” S’ren said looking a T’vin, though he had not expected T’vin to react like that over trying to get some wine out of an older rider, S’ren had to say he had tried to do the same thing himself a few time’s. With a bit better luck.
“Your mother is just over there so i am not giving you a glass of wine” he said pointing over to where Timov was sitting with her back to them, but he still would not chance it.

“I wasn’t thinking anything and i wouldn’t my mum would kill me if she thought i was even trying to get some and i am in enough trouble with K’ttak with out him thinking i am doing thing’s like that” T’vin said all his words coming in a rush as he didn’t want more chores on top of the extra one’s he had off K’ttak

“My Ma’s is up on the ledge with my Da on watch, does that mean i can have a glass of wine?” Zi asked knowing the reply would be no.
Astra sipped the wine it was a nice sweet wine, she was slightly clad that this was a privilege for her over her other two friends.
“But the twins are just over there” Astra pointed to the two head bent low in conversation about something.
Zi looked over at her brothers “Unless a thread comes through the room they wouldn’t know if all the weyrleaders, lords, lady’s and Craftmasters were in the room” seeing her brother

T’vin looked over to where Astra pointed he liked the twins they where funny but know when to toe the line and be dragonriders, but even as dragon riders they showed that under the skin they where just young men and T’vin slightly looked up to the two.
Zi’s eldest brother he had met once and he was a bit to stuck up with the running of a weyr, T’vin didn’t think the man know how to smile

“Your still not getting a glass of wine ether” S’ren said sitting back down. Regarding the two young riders for a moment. He wondered if this had anything to do with wine at all or was it to do more with S’ren offering Astra the glass of wine.
Oh how the mind of how the young worked, he was glad Astras was taking this as just a kind offer nothing meant by it just a same plain offer of a drink.

H’ton started to see that a few where starting to finish their meals now, but he could still se a few weyrlings about.
<”Bronith, pleas ask Weyrling Master K’ttak’s dragon to ask him to dismiss his weyrlings”> He sent to his bronze to pass on.
Bronith passed on the message to Dornth “My rider wish’s you to ask you to ask yours to dismiss the little one’s” The bronze said as he lay on the ledge curled up next to his queen

Dornth passed the message on to K’ttak, he was down by the lake taking in the last of the evening sun
K’ttak got the message looking up at the head table and gave a nod to H’ton.
He know the weyrlings would not be happy being dismissed this early in the evening but what H’ton had to say was for the fighting riders only.

Zi got the message from her dragon “Oh that’s so not fair… did you get that” Zi asked looking at Astra and T’vin.
Astra looked at Zi “Get what” she had seen Zi’s eyes unfocus so she must have got a message form her dragon.
“that we have to leave the dinner hall” Zi said looking up at the head table.
Astra looked over at K’ttak he must have dismissed the weyrlings and Zi being a weyrling till she was 16 turns. But Astra was 16 nearly 17 turns so she was in the fighting wings.
“no i didn’t get a message”
“Oh that’s not fair” Zi said looking envious at Astra

Timov looked at K’ttak seeing his eye’s change to the well none look when a rider was talking to or receiving a message from their dragon.
“Something wrong?” Timov asked.

S’ren looked up to the head table and then over at K’ttak “We’ll i think use two” He pointed at T’vin and Zi. “Better get to the barracks and your weyr” he said to Zi knowing she did not stay in the barracks as her dragon was to big.

Rio looked about when she got the message from a sleepy Aerith.
She looked over at K’ttak to see if he would give any insight to what was going on

Talia looked up seeing the weyrlings starting to leave the dinner hall, she thought it was still a bit early for K’ttak to be dismissing them, they could not all have been into that much trouble.
Quinith sensed her riders confusion responded to her rider<< Bronith’s mine has asked the scared browns rider to dismiss the little dragonets>> she said getting the information easily off her mate
Talia looked over at H’ton wondering when he would make the announcement.

K’ttak looked at Timov, “H’ton has asked me to dismiss the weyrlings back to the barrack” He said knowing she would not like it she had not got to see or talk to her son.
K’ttak looked round for the boy, he know he had been in among the group who had been messing about outside.

“oh!” Timov said she looked round seeing T’vin sitting with Zi and Astra.
She thought it was a bit to be sending the weyrlings away from the dinner hall this early, they had a right to know.
“Don’t but shouldn’t they be allowed to hear what is going to be said?” She asked.

Zi turned to S’ren “I don’t have to go to my weyr, i can go to the barracks if i like.” Zi said getting up
“Come on T’vin lets leave the adults to the running in the weyr, we all know who’s going to Top Point any way, so we just get to miss out on H’ton’s very bad attempt at a reassuring speech.” Zi said then gave Astra a wink
Astra looked at Zi thinking she had upset her friend by staying, but was reassured when Zi winked at her.

“It’s up to H’ton. I will tell all of them what is happening anyway to put a stop to any gossip that may start” K’ttak said hoping that would reassure Timov. He liked to keep the Weyrlings up to date with things that happened and that would affect the running of the weyr as i made the aware of things not to say and to and areas to avoid, unless they wanted a telling off.

T’vin looked round “ah I only just got in here” T’vin said not happy that they where having to go back to the barracks He he looked back at K’ttat
“Do you think we can protest?” he asked the where not babies and he wanted to know and hear what was going to be said.

“Not unless you want to be scrubbing the latrines for the next month or going to Top Point yourself” Zi said knowing that there was time’s to argue and time’s to do what you were told and this was one of these time’s with H’ton, temper on the edge already.

“She is right you know” S’ren said looking about watching the rest of the weyrlings leaving. He ignored Zi’s testy little tone when she said she didn’t have to go to her Weyr.
“Well mind you behave yourself” S’ren said to Zi.
When these tow went he would get Astra to come and join him back over on Timov and K’ttak’s table

“Except when your wrong” Astra said trying hard not to laugh
“No.. It’s the question that’s wrong not my answer” Zi said she had done this with her brothers hundreds of time’s, it was a brilliant way to take the attention off a problem and the problem at the moment was them having to leave the dinner hall.

T’vin did not like that he was having to go back to the barrack and Zi, Astras and S’ren’s comments did not help.

Zi rolled her eye resisting the urge to say something unkind about Hold bred kid’s, in a weyr you got told something eventually, even if it was second third hand or even by dragon gossip, you found out what was going on and K’ttak would tell them or if not Zi would ask the twins as they always told her things stuff if she brought them some food when on watch.

“Yep and you are the young part, who has to do what your told. Even if you don’t like it” S’ren said drinking his wine.
Why was T’vin being a pain about this. It was not the first time the Weyrling’s, Candidates and Weyrbrats had been asked to leave early and it would not be the last time.
