Elday looked at K’inzar “Go jump between blue rider” she said to him…wondering what he was doing back here
”A pleasure” E’lric said thinking he got the impression that Elday was after his dragons colour rather than himself and he was not keen on the way she talked to K’inzar even if he was trying to wind her up.
”Sorry about that some in this weyr can be a bit uncouth” Elday said turning her attention back to E’lric he may be going but he may come back, things could happen.
”Hmm… so i see” E’lric said

”At least I can go between unlike you” K’inzar said to Elday watching her try and crawl up to E’lric
”I’ll have none of that use two” F’husna said calling order to the two as he didn’t want a fight to start and have it the first thing Kisa and R’reek to have to deal with.

G’ree had got up and went to dismiss the children from making their firelizard straps with Whip sitting on his shoulder.
It was a good job G’ree had gone when he did as the children were restless so he had sent them off to play and burn off the energy.
“I have dismissed the Children F’hursna, they are going to play by the lake or until Morga wants them. Your permission to go to East Cliff Weyr?” He asked deciding he would like the permission of the old weyrleader on last to time to be allowed out of the weyr

Elday looked when G’ree came in and asked for permission to leave the weyr and go to East Cliff.
“What are you asking him for… he is not Weyrleader any more, unless you missed it, the new queen has risen and who ever caught her is weyrleader now” She said the flight had brought her some happiness it meant F’hursna was not in charge and she could try and work her way’s with the new weyrleader.
”He is asking out of respect you’re your once weyrleader, who created a weyr in the most coldest part of Pern and has started to change the way of rider who forget that as dragon riders we have a responsibility to Pern and her people… but should not abuse or exploit the respect the people of Pern show towards us” E’lric said he may understand her not respecting K’inzar since he had wound her up when she had first come in, but the way she talked as though F’hursna could not hear her was disrespectful in so many ways it was un thinkable

K’inzar wanted to jump down Eldays throat, she was beyond a joke. But E’lrics words made him stop and see another way round it.
“You haven’t asked who the new Weyrleader is Elday…don’t you even want to know?” He asked knowing she would not be happy about Kisa’s queens choice.

Elday looked at E’lric he was well spoken still with a hint of the Eastern accent though it was slightly mixed with others.
“But still F’hursna is not Weyrleader any more” Elday said still ruling it over the old man.
He was not in charge of the weyr any more and that was something nice about the whole flight.
“Ok then blue rider who is the new weyrleader?” She asked looking at K’inzar

F’hursna looked at Elday he was not impressed with her manner and attitude; he had expected her to be happy he was not Weyrleader anymore.
“You are heading for a long spell between Elday...I warn you that. Kisa has already seen your true colours and will watch you and so will the new weyrleader, he will not stand your lip” F’hursna said his voice speaking these words softly but they were still stern.
K’inzar was interested to drag this out a bit “I don’t think it’s my place as a blue rider to tell you” K’inzar said finishing his drink and getting his jacket back on

Elday didn’t even care what F’hursna said he was old and useless now and she had out lived Palin she could do the same with Kisa
She turned to K’inzar ”Oh don’t play that silly game with me K’inzar now tell me” she growled
”Someone should have told you catch a firelizard better with a sweet voice than a hiss” E’lric said feeling he was seeing Nila in another 10 turns.
Elday turned to E’lric “i do not hiss and i have a sweet voice, when i chose to use it”

“What?” Elday said hearing who had won Kisas dragons flight.
“It can’t be”
”afraid so Ziinyth chose him over the rest of the bronzes” E’lric said to the head strong women.
Elday couldn’t believe this “Didn’t Sephiroth even try to out fly that... that dish rag?”
”Whach it that’s your new weyrleader” E’lric said seeing the women was upset over this

”Oh Sephiroth tried and he preformed to his usual standard, but it seam’s Kisa’s queen is not impressed by a dragon willing to fight for her” B’hamut added knowing Elday had a real dislike for R’reek even he had known that when he had lived at the weyr
