L’card looked round when G’ree came over he had never thought if they should ask if it was alright for the others to help him with this task.
“yes sir they have offered to help, since i cant get wet or do anything that involves a lot of movement with me dragon clawing me yesterday” L’card said wondering if the incident could be forgotten so quickly.
“M’ess and D’von said they would help me and i am going to help them oil their dragon once they are cleaned” L’card went on saying

G’ree looked at the boys for a moment, he had not expected them to work together so quickly to solve a problem like this and in truth G’ree had forgot L’card could not bath his dragon.
Good job the boys did or G’ree would catch it from the healers about letting L’card get wet and cold.
“Alright, fare enough, but watch that dragon, he does not come across as one who will like someone else cleaning him” G’ree said thinking the boys were brave to try bathing that bronze.
”Don’t worry sir, we’ll be careful” M’ess said to the weyling master hoping to put the mans mind at rest over this

”Yeah, we’ll be careful” D’von said looking at L’cards bronze, and he felt a knot of dread and worry in case the bronze lashed out at him and M’ess.
Well hopefully L’card had gave the bronze his flying orders and he would do ash he was told to do and let them was him, well Devon hoped he would

M’ess looked at D’von he could see the lad looked unsure about helping give a Arkairyth bath, mind M’ess was not to sure about it ether but he had said he would help L’card and he would.
M’ess moved closer to Arkairyth and then talking softly said “hello Arkairyth I’m M’ess brown Zarunath mine, i am going to give you a quick was so as to get rid off the loose skin so you wont itch” M’ess said saying the stuff he would do for a firelizard and the reasons why.
He hoped the bronze understood
Rio watched from her position near Aloth, trying to remember her own lesson…her’s had just been with Talia and K’ttak in the bowl she had not had the chance to inter act with the other weyrlings like these did.

Arkairyth looked at M’ess and growled at the boy
“Hey stop it, if you hadn’t nearly cut my sharding chest open yesterday, i could bath you…but because you clawed me i can’t so stop growling now” L’card shouted at Arkairyth…he had about had it with that dragon.
<<And what are you going to do about it mine>> Arkairyth growled again knowing his rider could not do anything to him in the water
L’card glared at his dragon, he would show that half finished bronze who was the rider here.
He slipped his belt off and then walked forward grabbing Arkairyth and dragging him to the shore. He pinned the dragons head and then looped the belt over the jaw and then tightened it and securing it so Arkairyth would not get it off.
“That’s what i will do” L’card said as Arkairyth thrashed about he could feel the dragons panic in his mind but L’card was not giving in.
<<Mine off, NOW>>the bronze yelled
<<”Say you will let M’ess bath you without you hurting him”>> L’card sent to his dragon…
Arkairyth growled again
<<”Say it”>> L’card said angrily he had let Arkairyth have to much his own way yesterday.
<<Yes wont hurt brown Zarunath mine, off now off>>
L’card took the belt off “Ok you know what will happen if you do” he said he was taking a stand against this bronze now before he got to big to handle

D’von watched in shock as L’card muzzled his dragon “Wow…hey” D’von shouted at L’card, he couldn’t believe he had just done that to his own dragon.
Yes D’von know that Arkairyth was a bit of a evil dragon but L’card didn’t need to do that to him.

L’card looked at D’von as he shouted, “What?...i was making it clear to Arkairyth where me and him stand if he even thinks of going for ever you or M’ess” L’card said shooting the bronze a nasty look, L’card would have respect from his dragon whether Arkairyth liked it or not, L’card had never let anyone push him around and he was not about to start now by letting the little dragon bully him.

M’ess had hesitated when Arkairyth growled at him, he was just thinking of what to say when he observed Arkairyth and L’card form what looked to him exchange sour words.
The next thing he know L’card had muzzled Arkairyth “Wow hey…L’card, he’s only a baby” M’ess said he had been taken by a bit surprised by L’cards action.
G’ree had been helping another rider when he heard the commotion from the small group, he looked round just in time to see L’card remover something from around his dragons mouth obviously the two had had a falling out and the other two lads were kicking up a fuss.
G’ree headed back over “What happened” he asked looking at L’card, D’von and M’ess

L‘card looked at M’ess “I was worried that he was going to go for you, he wouldn’t give his word he would not try and claw you or bight you so i made it clear to him that i am not going to take it from him he has to learn to change his attitude” L’card said realising he had set the others against him, it was ok for them their dragon were nice and fun his was like his grand father, mean and bad tempered
L’card looked as G’ree came over, “Nothing sir, just me and Arkairyth letting each other know where we stand” L’card said it was the truth, Arkairyth now know just how far he could push him before L’card would react.

M’ess looked at L’card and then at G’ree. M’ess could appreciate L’card looking out for him but he didn’t need to do that to his dragon he could have hurt Arkairyth and sent him between, then what would L’card do.
G’ree looked at the boys, it was clear that there was going to be some problems and the most outlined one was Arkairyth and L’card, he was going to have to watch him and his dragon closely, for the good of the weyr.
G’ree was thinking a head, they could handle Arkairyth now but what would he be like when he reached his full size, Yadrath and most definitely Sephiroth could handle him and keep him in line but could Leonth. Leonth was a big bronze but Yadrath was bigger and Sephiroth was bigger still, but then there was the queens with 3 of them they should keep the bronze in line and then the 2 snows.
G’ree just hoped to be able to control the bronze when the time came.

D’von was a bit worried when G’ree came over thinking they were all going to be in for a scorching, well L’card was anyway.
He looked between G’ree and L’card, they didn’t know G’ree well so they wouldn’t know how he would react to what had just happened.
D’von had learnt long ago don’t annoy people you don’t know. Even more when that person can have you scrubbing the floor for weeks on end

”L’card can i have a word with you” G’ree said thinking he would talk to the lad alone and try and get this cleared up quickly before it burrowed like a thread and spread to other areas

L’card looked at the weyrling master and he know he was in trouble.
L’card headed over hanging his head a bit to make it look like he was sorry for what he had done but really he wasn’t, Arkairyth had pushed him to far and he had snapped and shown the dragon just how much he could take.
Arkairyth would think twice before not doing what he was told and L’card decided to get it into the bronzes head now before he got to big for him to do anything about it.
Arkairyth moved closer to the edge of the pool and let M’ess clean him as he floated in the waster. Arkairyth head was turned to watch L’card, the little bronze letting out a growl at his rider, that had been unkind what he had done

G’ree waited till they were far enough away before turning to L’card “I know you have a strong willed dragon who has been trying to domineer over you since he hatched, but i can not over look what you did, you could have hurt Arkairyth, you could have sent him between…now you have to find a middle ground with him” G’ree said not really sure how L’card could do this but it was better than what he was doing now.
“If Arkairyth wants something make him wait for it, if he try’s to go for you make him wait linger. Remember Arkairyth at the moment only has the mind of an small child and a badly behaved one at that”
