Standing at the edge of the lake, Rukabt hanging in the sky like a ball of fire brought to life by an ancient dragon, stood two figures. One dwarfed by the other. Golden hide gleaming, immaculant from cleaning, oiling, and from the most recent blood flowing closer to the skin as she grew ready to Rise for the first time, was Ziinyth, queen of the Weyr, and none to slow to remind the world of it. At her side, one hand resting on the dragon's foreleg, was the small weyrwoman, her dark hair tied in a knot at the base of her skull, eyes intense against her pale skin. She wore heavier hides, long sleeves and legs as always, ready for the drill to commence, impatient for the Riders and dragons to arrive. Ziinyth tilted her head skyward, a long, echoing bugle bursting forth in a summons to any dragon in the Weyr to come forth, saddled and ready for drills. Earlier in the day, the Gold had sent a message to dragons that their riders were to collect a small sack of firestone, and be ready for drilling. Now the Gold and Rider were ready to start.
As Ziinyth's voice died down, and it's echos with it, Kisa hauled herself onto the golden foreleg, then shoulder, finally into the straps and secured her legs. No need for firestone, Ziinyth couldn't flame and be fertile after all, but they could fly, and fight Thread with a flamethrower. As if to comfort her rider, Ziinyth crooned softly, sure that things would go smoothely, and that no major changes would need to be made. But, where on Pern were the wings?

Zaira had left the record rooms to get herself a drink, grateful for a chance to stretch her back and give her eyes a rest from trying to decipher illegible script. While she loved stories and the telling of them, Zaira had never had much of a liking for the copying of crumbling hides. Not to mention the works she was currently sorting through held no interest. What did she care about how many sacks of grain were tithed to the Weyr some four Turns ago?
However it was while she was in the kitchen sipping the cool fruit juice one of the drudges had provided her with, when Zaira held the bugle of a dragon. She looked around her, but the drudges and kitchen staffe paid it no attention. Had they heard? Or did they understand the meaning of it and found it of no concern? Not one of those rare Pernese who could hear the mind voices of dragons, Zaira looked around her perplexed.

Zi pranced from one foot to the next, still eager to get things under way, and picking up on Kisa's own desires. She wanted to fly, to be in the air, swooping among the others, watching them with a keen eyes and scolding poor preformances, encouraging those of value.
Kisa stroked the neck beneath her, and only then remembere dehr promise to the Harper, of having Ziinyth tell ehr when the drills would be starting. "Zi, go ahead and let Zaira, the Harper you so liked, know we should be starting the drills once everyone arrives."[/b] The Gold gave a delighted rumbled and nodded, sending a mental message immediately.
//Harper, Mine Kisa says that we will be starting drills by the lake soon.// Even her mental voice might sound a roar to those unaccustomed to a dragon's speech, and the first tmie Kisa had heard it, she'd cringed away form the hatchling. Not in fear, but shock, and a small amount of pain. This in mind, Ziinyth had spoken as softly as she could, undoubtably not enough to be comfortable though. It was a strange experience to hear the voice of another in your thoughts, too feel their presence in your mind. //I told her, Kisa. She should come soon.// The Gold arched her neck, craning to look about as if the action alone would bring the wings here, now.
Kisa smiled and nodded. "Thanks dearheart., but do calm down. It won't suit us well to have the rest arrive, and see you dancing about like a young Holder's daughter at the Gather. I'd rather them see a Gold than a Green."[/b] At that, the Gold settled herself down, though she seemed almost sulky about it. It didn't last long, for the first of the riders appeared, astride a Blue.
It was N'bula and Roanth, an odd looking pair if ever there was one. Most of N'bula's body was covered in tattoos, a painful process he'd discovered by accident, and had taken to practical use, recording the history of the Weyr. It started with East Cliff, but with his own move to Top Point it had switched to record the entire history of the fairly young Weyr. Roanth was not to be ignored though, his hide an array of shades, darks, lights, and midtones, and one of the most likeable faces ever seen. The pair circled, Roanth dipping a dark wing before comming down, and making an almost dainty landing.[/size]

Zaira, Weyr born and bred, and a daughter of a blue rider, was not unaccustomed to the occasional mind speak of a dragon. However whether it was because it had been such a long time since she had lived at the Weyr or because it was the loud, different voice she heard, Zaira startled at Ziinyth initially, causing her to spill part of the juice down her tunic. With a curse at her clumsiness she tried her best to wring out the liquid, taking a moment to comprehend the message Ziinyth passed on from Kisa.
Deciding no one would notice the dark mark against the blue of her clothes from astride their dragon in the sky, Zaira quickly finished the remainder of her drink, thanking the same drudge who took the empty glass form her, and made her way out into the bright sunlight.
Zaira shielded her eyes against the harsh light, her eyes had adapted to her darker quarters in the Record Room, as she made her way to the lake, picking out the form of two riders, one of them obviously Kisa from the sight of the great gold cavorting nearby. The other rider Zaira did not know.
"Thanks for inviting me," Zaira greeted Kisa, giving a bow to the great gold. She turned to the male nearby, "I'm sorry I do not know you. I am Harper Zaira."

Rio made her way down to the lake carrying Aerith harness, she had had to pull on an extra jumper this morning she was still getting use to the cold morning of Top Point Weyr. Though the jumper provided little difference to the cold it did stop her shivering. Rio watched as Aerith glide down to join her by the lake from up near the old Weyrleaders dragon she seamed to spend a lot of time with him or maybe Rio was jus imagining things.
[glow=9000ff,1,200]Aerith glided down and landing neatly on the ground, pleased with her self for such a good landing, she was also very happy to be flying with other dragons and she jumped about like a newly hatched dragonet. [/glow]
Rio walked up to her dragon and throwing the harness over “hold still” Rio said as she worked to get the harness secured onto the gold. “What are you so happy and jumpy about, that old bronze has not been telling you unclean joke’s has he?” Rio asked wondering if dragons did tell funny story’s she know they laughed… in away… and could be sarcastic but Rio didn’t know if they told each other jokes.
< [glow=9000ff,1,200]I’m happy we get to fly with everyone today[/glow]> [glow=9000ff,1,200] Aerith said as she held still and got her harness on [/glow]
“Hmm…as long as its not with B’hamut is expect its not that bad.” Rio said as she checked everything over. “Come on lest go to the back” Rio said leading the way to be behind some blue’s, green’s and browns.
<[glow=9000ff,1,200]But i will not be seen back there and we have practiced so many time’s [/glow]> [glow=9000ff,1,200]Aerith complained to her rider [/glow]
” Exactly i don’t want Kisa telling me off in front of all these people” Rio said heading to the back
[glow=9000ff,1,200] Aerith snorted not happy to have to go to the back, but followed her rider [/glow]

Elday walked to near the lake waiting for her wing leader to turn up. She was not impressed with the new weyr women calling them all down here at this time of the day, all the wings were fit and anyway it was not like this weyr fought threads and when they did it was with that East Cliff lot and that was only a selective few riders. Elday looked about seeing Kisa and her gold Ziinyth, they weren’t anything special, just lucky that this weyr didn’t have a young queen of it’s own, not that this weyr even needed a queen to rule it. Elday’s eyes spotted the younger queen rider Elday hadn’t bothered learning her name, she wasn’t important enough to have a name worth remembering. Elday saw Rio move to the back near to where Elday was standing, Elday quickly looked round there was not bronze riders about Kisa looked busy. “What you doing back here…go back up there with your own colour goldie we’re not slumming it with you with us” Elday said unkindly
A blue rider looked up from checking his dragons leg he heard Elday’s unkind words “Hoy Elday shut it…she’s a Jr queen rider and ranks your green hide and unless you wand it grounding again show some respect.” He said coming to the gold’s rescue, Elday could be nasty
Elday narrowed her eyes at the blue rider “what you know, your dragons hide is as dull as your whit…new queens know nothing of this place and that’s the way it will stay” Elday said with her fist ready and threatening the blue rider.
“Don’t scare me Elday… i known you to long and flow your more than once. New weyrwomen al know the record, Harper will see to that and so will F’hursna and R’reek. Didn’t think B’hamut got sent back just for his health or to see you... Wised the queens up first before they come, they’ll have your slat marked” the blue rider said standing up to Elday and buying time for R’reek and the weyrleader to get here and as luck would have it R’reek turned up heading to Kisa but Leonth headed to take his place in the wing. “Here’s R’reek anyway so shut it before he comes down here and give you something to really his about”
R’reek and Leonth landed R’reek dismounted and headed up to Kisa. “Good day. Sorry have to bring my wingleader’s apologies the healers marked him unfit with a head cold and the healer wont let anyone fly with a cold less they go between and make it worse” R’reek said it had been a while since there had been a full weyr drill, they should do it a bit more often.

Zaira, after introducing herself to a few riders, drew back, finding a smooth rock to sit on so she could watch the proceedings. However she was not so far away that her keen sense of hearing could not pick up a few of the conversations. She honed onto the greenrider who seemed discontent at the new gold riders transfer to Top Point. It was to be expected, not everyone would want new leadership, especially if the riders were a Weyr not of their own, and yet Zaira though the green rider should be more careful with that loose tounge of hers.

Kisa msiled as Zaira approached, delighted that the Harper arrive so quickly, and just in time too it would seem. As the markably small numberas gathered, Kisa started counting, and to her dismay found that at best they would form a single wing. It was to be expected though, an issue she and Ziinyth would take care of quickly enough. Her beloved Gold should be able to offer more dragons, as well as Rio's own Gold, where ever that pair had wandered off to. The back of the wing, perhaps not the best of places, but there was little chance of the young Gold being seared there by another dragon. Before she could greet Zaira properly, R'reek strolled up, leaving his dragon to greet his weyrwoman, and not far behind him was N'bula.
With a wide grin, she waved to them each in turn, pleased to see that at least some of the Weyr was taking her new rule in stride. They may not adore her, but she didn't want that. She rather preffered their suspicion, gave her a reason to work hard. "Good to see you all out so quickly! Zi was getting nervous, and I'm eager to see our Weyr fly. Zaira, how low should we stay for you to see us well?[/b] She looked to the Harper for a moment, taking into consideration that at a great altitude sight would be difficult, beyond color, and Kisa wanted to know who was doing what. Her attention was then drawn once more away, this time by a low growl from Ziinyth, who mantled ehr wings and snaked her neck back and forth.
Perhaps her rider had not noticed the slander spewing from the greenrider, but the Gold had, and was taking insult. Not much had been aimed at ehrself or at Kisa, but Rio and Aerith were still queens, and so that Green should be bowing at their paws for the graciousness shown by comming to this chilly Weyr. //Green Vieth curb the tongue of your Rider, or I will pull it out with my smallest claw and feed it to a wher.// Kisa heard this as well, and was more than a little shocked to hear such a threat from the generally happy Gold. Whatever had been said, to cause such a reaction? With a scowl, the diminutive rider swung down from Ziinyth's neck, landing in a crouch on the ground, to stalk over to the Green and Elday, arms crossed over her chest, and saw that another bluerider, as well as Rio and Aerith, were present as well. "What is going on here? Ziinyth is upset and something you said caused it."[/b] Her cerulean gaze was pointedly on Elday, chilly and furious.
N'bula watched the wyerwoman storm off to confront the greenrider with a sigh, shaking his head. She was a firey spirit, seeming to have no end to her temper, and yet had for the most part shown good judgement. Looking to R'reek, he smiled and offered his hand. "So, do you think we'll ever get up today?"[/b] It was said jokingly, for he could use the chance to practice, and was wondering why it had been so long since they had drilled anyway. [/size]

F’hursna pulled on a flight jacket and walked out to where Yadrath stood waiting and ready for him
<<You are still not sure if you want to fly>> the bronze said feeling that inside his rider still hurt more than he was letting other think he was, but F’hursna could not fool Yadrath the bronze know his rider to well
“I am still Weyrleader here and will make sure that Palin’s work to get a weyr up to such standards is not ruined by any who chose to question the new queen” F’hursna said getting up on to his dragons neck.
<<Hmm… that may be to late>> and at those words he let out a loud earth shaking call the same as the ones Sephiroth was so well known for as he called a warning to Vieth and her rider, he had noticed the greens rider bullying the young gold. Yadrath liked the young gold she was very sweet and liked to listen to what he told her.
F’hursna picked up on his dragon’s anger and felt the sours to… ”Elday” he muttered she had challenged Palin enough but Palin had been older and with several daughters and son’s had know how to deal with a teenager with a bad attitude. “Get us down there” he said holding onto his dragon’s neck.
Yadrath had no sooner landed than F’hursna was off and on the ground and marching right up to Elday. “I don’t know what your game is today Elday…but you are not playing it now and not at the expense of Riobhne and Aerith” F’hursna growled as he stood next to Rio to offer her more support, he would make known to Kisa the few riders who were opposed to having to incomers from another weyr.

Elday looked round to see where R’reek was seeing him go strutting up to Kisa. Who did he think he was kidding that women would not look at him twice.
Vieth let out a growl she did not like her rider being threatened <<Mine you need to watch what you say… you are being unkind and they are gold>>
<<“Not that i care much about what colour they are”>> Elday sent back not caring. Though her gloating was short lived when Kisa herself came marching over. Elday just pulled a face at said she was not caring about this women’s opinion. “I’m only voicing the opinion of the weyr” Elday said a snide tone to her voice. She rolled her eyes when F’hursna turned up storming, why wasn’t he still off mourning his beloved mate.
R’reek watched Kisa go off he turned back to N'bula taking the hand and nodding a greeting “ I hope so we could do with some more flights we have slaked over the few days” R’reek said seeing that all together the active riders could only make up a wing, this was not good start, yes some were grounded by the healer and they were not really a fighting weyr but still their numbers should be better than they were. R’reeks caught sight of Elday and Kisa making her way over to her “I would have hoped Elday wouldn’t start” R’reek said feeling ashamed that the green rider was in his wing. “Come on N’bula i want a witness to what i am about to do to that deadglow green rider” R’reek said making his was towards the rest of his wing.

Rio turned hearing herself addressed in such a disrespectful way. She caught sight of the rider who was talking to her in such a manner. Rio was also caught a bit off guard by the aggression of Elday, as most riders respected a queen rider even one as young as herself, but this rider didn’t seam to have any respect for her or other rider. Before Rio could think of words to defend herself a blue rider came to her rescue, but the green rider showed him less respect than she had just shown Rio, she had never heard riders talk to each other in such away.
[glow=9000ff,1,200]Aerith turned her head, her eyes changing quickly to red and growled at the rider who was talking so unkindly to her own [/glow]
Rio quickly turned to try and calm Aerith down, but to her dismay Kisa came marching over followed F’hursna. At hearing Kisa’s angry tone Rio wanted to jump between away form all of this, she hadn’t done anything this time to earn a telling off it was all this Green riders doing.

The blue rider looked at Elady “Yours does not make it a whole weyr’s and ether way no one gives a werry feather about what you have to say or contribute to the weyr and that’s sharding little. The weyr needs a gold queen to rule it. No way you can tune it differently” The blue rider said he had come form the Harper hall and was one of the few who had volunteer to help set the weyr up even at such a young age and thought mad be most. Elday saw little Rio and he dragon grow at her, Elday didn’t care and she took great pleasure in seeing Rio look so upset. She turned to the blue rider “And like yours counts anymore than mine, she….” Elday was cut off
”Not to you anyway, but me and a good few other count it as valuable… yours Elday counts for less than a shoddy mark. Thought you would have lasted a bit longer than this before making your mouth go…” R’reek said to Elday walking right up to her
Elday glared at R’reek “Shouldn’t have come to the back if she can’t take the heat from a fighting wing.”
“Hope your not counting your self in that fighting wing Elday as that girls probably done more fighting than you have. You’re lucky if you’re ungrounded for more than two practices…” The blue rider laughed
”Enough…” R’reek shouted not believing how they were acting in front of their new weyrwomen
”Oh your getting high and mighty R’reek but Leonth ain’t flown her dragon yet” Elday taunted
R’reek felt himself go red “Na but i am wing second and in charge of this wing while the wing leader is not here and i got a nice punishment for you Elday right from my fathers own punishment…your grounded….”
“Oh like that is anything new” Elday said she was always getting grounded and not allowed to fly.
”Oh this is new, your personal stuff will be removed form your weyr and you’ll be given just some common drudge cloths, You’ll get a simple bread and water brought to you at meal time’s and that is all and you’ll stay there when not doing work for Morga, she’ll have a few nice things for ya and be escorted to the lake to clean and oil Vieth and i wouldn’t complain if i were you Morga’s lethal with that wooden sthingy” R’reek said happy as he would add on a few tasks for her to do. He turned to Kisa “Is that alright with you Weyrwomen Kisa?” He asked her mark on it would make it all the more fitting for Eldays punishment

Kisa scowled, for once not at Rio, but at Elday. "Elday, if you have so much as a single problem with our presence here, I'd advise you to take one of three choices. You're first is to shut your trap, deal with it, and get on with your pathetic life. Second, get out of MY Weyr. The third, and the one that Ziinyth seems the fondest of, is to shove Beteen with that Green of yours and save all of Pern from listening to you whine. Now, if you'd like to transfer out, I'll happily arrange it so you are gone by nightfall. Any questions?"[/b] Kisa fury was restrained, though her words were sharp, they were not said in blindness. They were the only choices Elday would be ofered, and Kisa had considered these all before she even arrived in Top Point, well aware that there was bound to be trouble. "Now, I want everyone who has any intention of continuing to reside in Top Point in formation before I get back to my dragon, and by the time I'm in the air you all should be as well. If anyone has a problem with this, I advise you to go to your weyrs now, after drills I'll speak with oyu, and we can discuss your future. Am I clear?"[/b] Without waiting for anyone to answer, the diminutive wyerwoamn spun on a booted heel and headed back to her dragon, purposely walking quickly to emphasize the fact that she was serious. Weight was added to her words as Ziinyth lifted her wings and dropped to a knee, making it all the easier for her rider to mount, and then bespeaking the dragons.
//Mine speaks truthfully. Tell your riders to hurry, for neither of us will tolerate disrespect, and while she is forced to use reason, I will act on my wishes.// Her voice was stern, just short of furious, having calmed as she listened to her rider. She watched her short Mine stalk over, at a quick stride, with amusement, her red-tinged eyes calming. Kisa would make things right, and so Ziinyth would have no need for action so long as the Weyr was intelligent enough to know that both the Gold and Weyrwoman were deathly serious.[/size]

F’hursna put a hand on Rio’s shoulder he could see the girl looked ready to cry over all of this most likely not over Eldays words and more worry that Kisa would find blame in Rio being at the back of a wing. Yes it was not the best place for Rio to be but it was a place where she was out of the way and good training for her to see how a fighting wing moved. He was slightly happy to see R’reek come charging in with his punish meant, it was a fare enough one and may do some lasting good this time, not being aloud to fly and have her personal things and have to work may sink into Elday thick hide. He was disheartened when Kisa said about removing Elady from the weyr. The whole point of the weyr was to have bad eggs like Elday sent to them to keep them from doing damage in a fighting weyr.
“Come on” He said to Rio getting her to follow him up to the front ranks where Kisa was getting ready to take the wing up. He mounted up onto Yadrath neck and he followed Kisa. When he was closer to her he said “Do not give Elday the option to leave the weyr, that’s what she wants and has been after since she got here. Elday use to… question …. Pailn’s… orders… she… even challenged her like she just did to you now. We take the riders that the other weyrs can not handle and try and change them to make them good. You needed to develop your own way to discipline them. Talk to your wing leaders and their second, they know who the trouble makes are and will give you pointers on how they deal with them who do not follow the rule. Also get Morga on your side… she like my self and…Palin has raised some teenage girls and will have no end of punishments for you to try” F’hursna said hoping to help Kisa with this problem

Zaira watched the scene unfold, and had to hold her mouth shut against her better will. She had been known at the Harper Hall to offer her opinions unbidden and often got herself entangled in conflicts that otherwise she had no part in. And yet common sense told her that in this case Kisa needed to exert her leadership on the wayward rider. It was imperative that the Weyr performed to the expectations of Kisa, not only in matters of Thread fighting but discipline as well. Any interference from Zaira would not be helpful, and the Harper did not wish to offend the only person in the Weyr she thought she may be able to call friend.
However Zaira did find it exceptionally hard to just sit there, as if she was a dumb mute, as the wherry headed green rider thought to criticise Kisa. Did the woman even know the Weyrwoman? Had she taken the time to introduce herself, to talk to her? Zaira highly doubted it and wondered how such a stupid woman could have become a dragonrider when as far as she was concerned there were a great number of people who deserved the role more than this Elday character.
The Harper was not so naive as to expect that everyone would get along, she herself had only a small number of friends, and disliked many people. But to flout the word of someone superior to oneself, and in such a public manner was sheer stupidity.
Perhaps Zaira could seek out Elday at a meal and see what other thoughts she harboured. Maybe she was just bitter. Although a jealous woman could be as bad as a crafty one, Zaira rubbed her crooked nose idly at the thought.

Elady sneered at Kisa as she left, yeah like she would be allowed to leave this weyr. Elday made to mount up, Kisa would not hear the end of this
R’reek put a hand on Eldays arm “Where you going, your grounded, get to your weyr” he said to her. Angry that Elday had though her self better than Kisa and made his wing look like a fool and the rest of the wing.
“Getting mounted up like her ladyship said to do… as you know better than most you don’t leave this weyr unless your really reformed or B’hamut who just got lucky” Elday said knowing that would hit hard as R’reek had like her been sent here.
“Don’t care this is my wing till the wingleader is well and i am not having you flying today, go back to your weyr and i may change my mind” R’reek said walking right into Eldays face.
Elday ignored R’reek and made to clime up Vieth’s neck
R’reek went forward pulling his knife and cutting the strap “Get to your weyr and be there when i get back” he said to her <<”Leonth order Vieth to go to the valley now”>>
Leonth looked at Vieth “I am sorry about this but your mine had up set mine and you may not fly with use today. My mine says to go to the warm place” the bronze said
“i understand” Vieth said as she moved away and took off and went between
Elday watched her dragon go “What are you doing? don’t order dragon away, you can’t do that” Elday scream at R’reek
R’reek was not taking this, he grabbed Elday put her over his shoulder and carried her to the lake and dropped her in the water. “Cool off Elday” and he walked back to Leonth and mounting out. “Right information the rest of use now”
Elday let out a scream when she hit the cold water and heard the odd laugh at her

Rio listened as everyone seamed to gang up on the green rider. Rio didn’t want to make enemies in the weyr. But from the looks of it she had now, because this woman had made one out of her. Rio may not be keen on following Kisa about for the next goodness knows how many turns, but she was still going to do it and help Kisa in any way she could and she would not stand by while others tried to make things harder for Kisa. Rio got up on to Aerith neck and had her followed F’hursna to the place at the front “I didn’t mean to cause any trouble… it thought by going to the back i would be of less of a bother to Kisa” She said as she did up her jacket. She looked over to see the green dragon take off and go between then heard the shouts and cry’s from Elday. She had not expected what would happen next as R’reek grabbed as shouting Elday and then drop her into the lake, which she know. must be close to freezing. Rio hid a laugh in her by pulling her scarf over her mouth, her opinion on R’reek had just changed a bit

Kisa watched from atop Ziinyth as Elday was thrown into the lake, and she shook her head. She would deal with the Weyr as she saw fit, and she knew how she would deal with Elday. Tossing her into water was not the way to handle it, even it R'reek had meant well. The Weyrwoman would let it go though, he was trying to help after all.
//Yes, he is. Most of them are, they may not like us, but they respect us.// This pleased Ziinyth immensely, and she gave a low croon at the thought, spreading out her wings slowly and pumping them lihtly to get the blood flowing.
-----
N'bula groaned, hurrying back to Raonth and scrambling up to straddle the neck of the oddly colored Blue. /Ready for this? We may be getting moved around if things don't go well./ He looked at the back of the Blue's head, feeling the dragon stretch and loosen his muscles, before warming his own wings up.
//I am always ready. We will show this new Gold that our Weyr is a worthy one, and you will be proud of my flying. Have you the firestone?// The Blue turned his pale face to N'bula, a draconic smile across his lips, and N'bula laughed, nodding and slapping his shoulder.
/Watch Ziinyth. When she leaves the ground, don't lag behind./ The Bluie simply rumbled softly, amused that his rider thought it was needed to give intrustions, or to offer advice. Ziinyth had made things clear enough, and the Blue was not stupid.
-----
Ziinyth crouched low, her wings rising to stand vertically to the ground, and then shoved from the soft grass, her wings delivering a powerful downward stroke, followed quickly by several more as she lifted herself higher. Kisa's cerulean eyes were on the other dragons, watching them closely, ready to make note of who was the last off the ground, who was the first off, who made the most effective take-off. Anything and everything. She may not have been given a prestigious Weyr, or one that had made history, but she would run an effective one, a Weyr that riders would be proud to call their own. It would take turns to acheive that goal, but she would have to wait.
/Zi, let Elday's Green know that she is not to allow her rider on her back for the next sevenday, or until you say otherwise. We'll have to tlak to the lass later, and work out a reasonable punishment./ Kisa spoke quickly to her dragon, though her eyes never wavered from the wing.
//Yes Kisa.// The Gold paused in her speech, shifting to bespeak Vieth. //Vieth? Yours is not to mount you for the next sevenday. If she tries, stop her. You are both Weyrbound for the remainder of this time, or until I say otherwise. I am sorry to punish you for your rider's actions.// The message relayed, Ziinyth tilted her wings, adopting a slow, wide circle that curved around the wing with room to spare. //Roanth is up, though I beleive he was fourth.//
/I saw. Ask Zaira who she thinks was first./
//Zaira? Kisa wishes to know the order you saw for take-offs.// The Gold was not fond of speaking to any human but Kisa, however, if it was needed, she did so, and she did like Zaira, for the Harper gave generous compliments, and played lovey music. There were far worse riders and humans to have to deal with, she knew.

F’hursna watched as R’reek dropped Elday in the water it was less that the girl deserved, for half the things she had done, but it though F’hursna know R’reek had done it more because he know the girl better than Kisa did, but it looked bad on him doing that.
F’husna turned his head when Rio spoke to him “I know it was none of your doing that, Elday looks for a fight with anyone no matter what colour dragon they rider. Kisa will find away to deal with her like Palin did and like R’reek does” F’husna said hoping it was not as wet a way s the young bronze rider’s.
Yadrath was into the air with the young Ziinyth and waited for te rest to follow

Zaira's brow creased into a frown as she saw a bronze rider throw the green rider Elday into the water. Had he not heard what Kisa had said? In his own way he was undermining her rule, although Zaira thought his intentions were probably good. She also knew young men could be rash, and had experience as such with it.
Glad to see the drills continued on regardless, Zaira kept a careful watch on the group of dragons gathered before Ziinyth as the gold displayed the type of manouvere to be performed. She shieled the top of her eyes from the glaring sun as she viewed the dragons leap into air at Ziinyth's instruction. However Zaira almost toppled off her seat upon the rock when for the second time for the day Ziinyth's melodious voice filled her head unexpectedly. Straightening herself, and quickly regaining her balance, she answered the queen's question.
**The bronze closest to the front was first, shortly followed by the older bronze, then the other gold and fourth the mottled-like blue. A few greens followed, and then the remaining few seemed to take to the air around the same time.** Zaira knew her report would have been easier with names of the dragons, of which she did not know and had no dragons of her own to aide her, but hopfully her descriptions were enough that Kisa knew which dragon she spoke of.
