Appearance: Tale and thin with long slender legs that seam to be longer than her body and a shaped face.
Elday has long light brown hair that she likes to have loss when ever she has the chance. She also likes to wear long frilly dresses when not in riding gear or she wears elegant shirts and skirts or tight trousers, mainly in colours that reflect well on her brown eyes
Personality: Elday is an arrogant rider, she was brought up in the weyr with mother rider and her father a simple holder. Her mother tended to let Elday have all her own way and did little to teach her daughter how to act in the weyr.
Elday does not like listening to others even if they are trying to tell her something important. She had an attitude problem towards people unless they are rider and even then unless they are a brown or bronze rider she pays them little compliment.
She also thinks far too highly of her self and thinks herself the equal to even a gold rider.
History: Elday brought up in the weyr with mother rider and her father a simple holder. Her Mother had her when she was very young no older than 14 so her mother was just a weyrling.
The weyr was very disapproving of this but allowed Elday’s mother to keep her , this may not have been the best thing for the Weyr or Elday as her mother tended to let Elday have all her own way and did little to teach her daughter how to act in the weyr or out of it.
It was with great reluctance that the Weyrleaders let Elday was allowed to stand as a candidate, but there was a shortage of female candidates at the time for this hatching and she was allowed to make up the number.
When she impressed Vieth at 12 turns old the weyr thought they would see a change in the girl and in away she did. Elday stop some of her nasty ways and even told her own mother to act fitting of a dragonrider. But her attitude towards Holders was still bad and she looked down on them and didn’t like having to go help them or carry holders to some place’s they needed to go.
When Vieth became mature enough to mate Elday like her mother was rarely seen out of the company of one rider or another, though she made sure not to make the same mistake as her mother and fall pregnant.
Matters came to a head when threads started to fall on Pern Elday would not follow instruction and stay in her wing formation, causing gaps in the fighting plan and Elday caused more trouble in the sky by getting in the way of other riders.
Elday was sent to Top Point were her weyr hoped she would learn to follow instructions before she got someone killed.
At Top Point Eldays attitude changed little towards Holders, but she was soon made to change her ways towards the weyr by F’hursna, Palin and T’zack, when in the sky and flying as when she moved out of position Palin’s queen Wikranth ordered Vieth back to the ground

Other: Elday has her eyes set on having B’hamut as a bed partner and she is not to happy with the thought of the two new Queens coming to Top Point
