Appearance:. Dev is short but well built and starting to grow into his body losing some of his baby fat, he has short cut dark brown hair with a cut in ponytail and brown eyes the twinkle with mischief. He has lightly tanned skin and a bit of a scar on his chin after he tried to jump the ash pit of the hold.
Dev wears a lot of hand-me-down cloths as he gets into a lot of places where good cloths would be spoilt.
Personality: Dev is quiet at first when he meets new people, but will open up over time when he gets to know people better. Dev has a mischievous nature also likes to try and find out every thing that is going on around the place.
He is always up to try any thing new and sometimes dose things he is not meant to do or classed as potentially dangerous, leading him into getting into trouble. But he is very friendly towards people he knows.
History Dev is hold in the South West of Pern. He is the youngest son of 4 children of a steward of a Hold, he has an older brother and sister and a younger sister.
Dev never got on with his family as with his mischievous behaviour he didn’t act the way the son of a steward should… it also didn’t help that anything Dev did his older brother and sister had to have done it first or 10 times better and his little sister was just a pain in the neck to him as anytime he planned to do something she would tell on him to their father. Dev spent much of his time in the kitchen with the Hold boys who were always up for any new adventure of dare that Dev could think up.
Dev was searched at a gather after taking up a dare to go up and pet one of the dragon riders dragons, Dev being Dev had took the dare and made to run and pet a blue dragon who he thought was a sleep in the sand. It turned out the dragon only had its eyes closed and it moved its tail just as Dev made to run back causing Dev to trip in the sand,. Naturally all of his mate’s scarpered leaving Dev lay sprawled out in the sand with a blue dragon towering over him. Dev was worried the dragon was angry till he hard the laughter of someone close by.
Turned out the rider had been watching and had instructed the dragon to trip Dev up, to teach him not to fool around with dragons.
Dev was very apologetic and said he had only took the dare as he wanted to see what a dragon was like up close, to which the rider said that if he wanted to he could come see what they were like in the weyr and may try for one of his own.
Dev was overjoyed at the offer, but his father was not to pleased as he had wanted to keep his family together, but he know you did not refuse the weyr.
Other Dev can some times be a bad influence on others who are younger than him

Personality: Mast is a very sweet Blue, his heart as nig as all of Pern it might seem at times. It pains him to see anyone unhappy, and due to this sensitivity, he will one day make one of the best searchdragons Top Point has ever known. He loves to be around people or dragons, chattering happily with anyone who'll listen to him, and getting along with neary everyone he meets.
