Appearance: He’s about 4ft pale, pointed face, with gray green eyes and slicked-back, very fair hair, with short light blond hair.
He’s thing and looks a bit stick like but don’t let that fool you he grew up in Bitra and knows how to look after himself in a fight and has used his light weight to over throw a few opponents on the wrestling match. He had muscles hidden some where.
He is also a very fast runner and won a good few marks in running races.
Personality: Lucarda is a bit of an odd egg in his family, he has grown up knowing how to weal and deal and cheat people out of their mark and is quite good at it, but he only cheats people who have cheated another person first.
He’s quite honest and kind to people who don’t have much in the way of things and wont cheat them out of the little they already have, as to him there is no point in cheating someone if they haven’t got anything worth taking, some thing his family don’t understand. But if someone crosses him he takes them for every mark they have.
Lucarda prefers to make his marks an honest way by winning races.
History: Born in Bitra and the Grandson slightly removed from the Lord Holder (A.k.a ether his mother or father were illegitimate children to the lord holder)
Lucarda learnt to weal and deal from the moment he could speak, he has an older sister and 2 younger sisters and a brother.
Lucarda was running races before he even learnt how to walk and it took his parents time to teach him to walk places.
But even then Lucarda was the fastest runner in the hold and given the job of carrying messages. This brought attention of the Lord Holder who say Lucarda as a way to make marks for him and moved Lucarda away form his mother and father into the Hold and made sure the boy had a good education, well enough so no one but him could deal Lucarda out of the marks.
But Lucarda was smarter than his grandfather thought and could do deals himself and made many a mark his family didn’t know about and actually cheated his grandfather out of many a mark.
Lucarda dreamed of leaving Bitra and starting a life somewhere else away from his family, somewhere he didn’t have to worry about who was trying to cheat him out of something.
Lucarda was searched after he helped out with a ground crew, he was acting as message runner and using it as an excuse to him out of the hold, and he got shouted over by one of the crew leaders to take message to the Hold. There was a rider and dragon there and the rider said Lucarda had potential to be a rider at Top Point. Lucarder saw this as his chance to get free of his family but his family had other plans and his father would not consent for him to leave.
Lucarda was angry at his parents and called them small minded and that not everything in the world revolved around marks.
But by some strange luck the Lord Holder over ruled his parents and said it was their son’s duty to serve pern.
Other: Lucarda was only allowed to be a candidate, by his grandfather as the Lord Holder hopes to create ties with Top Point Weyr. For his Hold has come off worst when it has faced the other Holds and weyrs of pern. This man wants one on his side especially if this weyr has the worst of the dragon riders in it.
Lucarda is just being used as a pawn to sink ties to the weyr, with him there the Lord Holder has an excuse to now same friendly with the weyr.

Personality:Arkairyth is a self-centered, arrogant creature, with a foul temper and no qualm with showing it. He is pompous, and parades about as though he owns the Weyr, as far as he's concerned he does. This little bronze has every intent on one day becomming the Weyrking, and His being Weyrleader, no matter what it takes. While he has shown no truely dangerous acts, there is an undercurrent that warns others, giving the feeling that if intimidation does not work, he will gladly resort to violence to remove any obstacles in his path.
This extends to L'card as well, for at the moment Arkairyth sees His as little more than a tool, no close bond yet formed.
